Despite his success in Germany, where Kane has scored 70 goals and provided 22 assists in 72 matches across all competitions, the desire to see him back in the Premier League persists.

According to reports from TBR, Ratcliffe would love for Manchester United to secure Kane’s signature. However, he has made it clear that he will not meddle in the footballing decisions of the club.

Kane’s contract at Bayern includes a release clause, potentially setting him free for 65 million pounds in January 2025, dropping to 54 million pounds by January 2026.

Kane’s potential return to England isn’t just about United’s interest. The striker, who is only 48 goals shy of overtaking Alan Shearer as the Premier League’s all-time top scorer, reportedly dreams of returning to England’s top flight.

Yet, he has ruled out moves to Arsenal and Chelsea due to the intense rivalry with Tottenham, his former club where he scored 280 goals and provided 61 assists in 435 appearances.

Interest in Kane extends beyond England; Fichajes reports that both Tottenham, with a first option to re-sign him, and Al Ahli, who see him partnering with Ivan Toney, have shown interest. This comes at a time when Al Ahli might lose Roberto Firmino.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are not putting all their eggs in one basket. The Red Devils are also eyeing Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has been in scintillating form, scoring 13 goals this season.

Additionally, United’s interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton has been reported by transfer correspondent Fraser Fletcher, with Manchester City and Newcastle United also keeping tabs on the young talent.

Further afield, Athletic Bilbao’s Oihan Sancet is another name on United’s radar, though current reports suggest no immediate bid is in the works, with competition expected for his signature.

As the transfer window approaches, Manchester United’s strategy seems to be not just about dreaming of big-name returns but also about scouting and nurturing new talent across the league.
