The English midfielder, who scored the second goal, emphasized the team’s readiness for the upcoming play-offs, regardless of their opposition.

“It was important to get the win and finish the group stage strong,” Bellingham stated. “We are definitely starting to click as a team in the last few weeks.”

Bellingham, named player of the match, capitalized on a swift counter-attack, finishing off a move he started to make it 2-0. Rodrygo then sealed the game with his second goal, underlining his importance to the team.
“We overlook who scores the goals because we know each game it will be someone different,” Bellingham noted, highlighting the team’s collective strength rather than individual performances.

They will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Benfica, with goalkeeper Marco Bizot expressing their intent to make more history. “We want to keep going, make even more history than we have already, and if we can continue to get results, why not,” Bizot remarked.
