The Liverpool forward’s remarkable contributions on the field, including 28 goals and 18 assists, were key in propelling his team to the Premier League title.

Not only did Salah shatter records for the most goal involvements in a single 38-game Premier League campaign, but he also delivered standout performances in Europe. With three goals and four assists, he helped Liverpool secure a spot in the Champions League’s last 16, further demonstrating his ability to shine on the biggest stages.

Salah’s influence at Anfield remains undiminished, especially after his recent decision to extend his stay with Liverpool until 2027, signing a two-year contract in a move that further strengthens his legacy at the club.

The 32-year-old’s dominance was clear in the Football Writers’ vote, where he secured an impressive 90 percent of the votes from over 900 members – marking the largest winning margin in the 21st century. This victory places Salah in rare company, as he joins Thierry Henry as the only player to win the award three times.

Salah’s teammate Virgil van Dijk finished as the runner-up, with Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Arsenal’s Declan Rice rounding out the top four, proving the global recognition of Salah’s extraordinary campaign.

In a season that has already been marked by individual brilliance and collective success, Salah’s award serves as a testament to his tireless work ethic and continued impact on both domestic and international fronts.
