The 20-year-old does not fit into Ruben Amorim’s tactical setup, which has prompted United to entertain offers for their academy star to bolster their financial position.

Napoli have been aggressive in their pursuit, submitting two bids for Garnacho, the latest at 55 million euros, but this fell short of United’s 60 million pounds valuation.

However, Chelsea are now poised to make a significant move. Reports from Diario AS indicate that the Blues are preparing a concrete offer to secure Garnacho’s services in the current transfer window.

His agents were seen at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, signaling ongoing discussions.

David Ornstein of The Athletic has confirmed Chelsea’s interest, highlighting Garnacho as a player with immense potential. This interest is partly driven by uncertainties surrounding Chelsea’s current winger, Mykhailo Mudryk, who faces a provisional suspension after a failed drug test, with his future at the club in jeopardy pending further test results.

Garnacho’s potential move to Chelsea could be part of a broader strategy to reinforce their attacking options, especially with Christopher Nkunku rumored to be on the radar of Bayern Munich and AC Milan.

On the other side, Manchester United have their eyes on Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu as a potential replacement. Dorgu, who can play as a wing-back, aligns better with Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system.

Lecce is expected to accept an offer between 30 to 34 million pounds for the Danish international, although Tottenham Hotspur is also in the race for his signature.

In related transfer news, Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo might be headed to Tottenham Hotspur. Enzo Maresca, when questioned about Tosin’s future, has said, “Anything can happen,” acknowledging the fluid nature of transfers.

Tottenham’s interest in the 27-year-old comes at a time when they are dealing with an injury crisis, potentially opening up a spot for new defensive recruits at Chelsea, with Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi and Dean Huijsen on their wishlist.

The transfer window is shaping up to be an exciting period for both clubs, with significant player movements that could alter team dynamics for the remainder of the season.
