Following a 3-1 victory in the first leg in Bruges, the French defender is hopeful that Villa can finish the job at home and create more unforgettable moments in Europe’s premier competition.

Describing the first leg as a “great game,” Disasi is well aware that “anything can happen” in the Champions League, which is why the team is not taking their advantage for granted.

The 3-1 scoreline puts Villa in a strong position, but they will need to stay focused and ensure they advance to the last eight.

“We played a great game there. The first one was great. We won there, and now we just have to finish the job,” Disasi told the club’s official website.

“We know that it will not be easy, because it’s a very strong team and, in the Champions League, anything can happen.

“We just have to finish the job, stay focused, and play the same game that we played there.”

Disasi, who made his Champions League debut at Jan Breydelstadion, is eager to continue the team’s strong form and help secure Villa’s place in the quarter-finals.

“It was my Champions League debut for all of my career, so it was great,” Disasi added.

“It was great to have this feeling with the music, and all my family was there.

“It was very nice to have this feeling. It was something that I was looking for, so I’m very happy to achieve this.

“Now, I hope that in the game of today, we will win again and go into the next stage.”
