Just two months after the 51-year-old was sacked by Red Bull without any reason for his dismissal after serving the company for 20 years as Team principal.

In December 2023, the woman submitted a formal complaint to Red Bull, alleging sexual harassment as well as coercive and controlling behavior by Team Principal Christian Horner.

These allegations remained confidential until they were made public in February 2024, which sparked widespread media attention.

Horner denied the allegations. Red Bull GmbH, the parent company based in Austria, commissioned an independent internal investigation led by an external legal expert.

Following the investigation, the allegations were dismissed, and Horner was cleared of any wrongdoing.

A few days later, WhatsApp messages were linked to senior Formula 1 personnel and members of the media. Horner described the messages as “anonymous, speculative messages from an unknown source,”.

The woman appealed the ruling, and the case was reviewed, but Horner was once again found not guilty, and the case was closed.

18 months after being suspended from her role. She’s back in the motorsports industry with her new appointment drawing a lot of attention. Asked to comment on her new role in the F1.

She has refused to comment and the Formula 1 has not released a statement choosing to remain silent.
