The announcement underscores the team’s commitment to stability as they aim to end a championship drought that stretches back to 2008.

Vasseur, who joined Ferrari in 2023, faced the daunting task of restoring the iconic Italian outfit to their former glory. Despite a strong 2024 season where they narrowly missed the constructors’ title, Ferrari have struggled in 2025, with no Grand Prix victories after 13 races.

The arrival of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton bolstered hopes, but results have yet to match ambitions.

Undeterred, Ferrari have doubled down on Vasseur’s vision. “I’m grateful for the trust Ferrari continue to place in me,” Vasseur said. “This renewal is a challenge to keep pushing, to stay focused, and to deliver.

“We’ve built a solid foundation over the past 30 months, and now it’s about consistency and determination to take the next step.”

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the team’s unified resolve. “This agreement reflects our trust in Fred’s leadership,” Vigna said.

“It’s built on shared ambition and clear responsibility. We’re united in our pursuit of the performance Ferrari demand.”

The team now look ahead to the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, set for 70 laps around the 4.381-kilometer Hungaroring on August 3, aiming to translate their renewed commitment into results on the track.
