FLYING FIRST CLASS was an easy winner in the Non-Black Type Allez France Stakes last time. The manner in which she quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was eye-catching. She has won three times, finished second once and third twice from six starts over this C&D. She is drawn widest of all, but gets the services of Randall Simons who will give her all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

LUSHOZI SHOOP won a very good race on debut over 1160m on the Standside course. She showed good speed, found another kick and won with authority. The daughter of What A Winter should love the rise to 1450m. She does take on stronger, but could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

MOVER AND SHAKER is the best bet on the programme. He showed good speed over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. Apprentice Siyanda Sosibo takes the 2.5kgs off his back and he can follow up.

LAGUNA VERDE showed signs of needing his comeback run over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course. He would have come on from the run and will strip a much fitter horse. The son of Gimmethegreenlight gets the blinkers fitted which will keep his mind on the task at hand. He is a horse that is loaded with ability and on best form shown, he should be too good for this field.
