ERNEST FEELING finally earned his first win at the 21st attempt. He remains in Class 5 and must have a say in this opening contest. GIVE WAY PLEASE finished a couple of lengths behind SMART FOLKS last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights but has a wide draw to overcome and may have to settle for the same result.
07:30 – Race 2 | Class 4 | 2000m

MANAGEMENT FOLKS finished just under four lengths behind KOWLOON GREAT last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire. GO GO SIXTEEN was an ultra-impressive winner last time and the manner in which he drew clear of the opposition suggests he should see out the ten-furlong journey.
08:00 – Race 3 | Class 1 | 1400m

THE GOLDEN SCENERY was only beaten by a length last time and managed to finish in front of BELUGA on that occasion. He has cracked pole position and looks nicely weighted with 53kgs on his back. HEALTHY HAPPY is better than his below-par last effort. He is a Group 3 winner and the form of his penultimate run behind Lucky Sweynesse is appealing.
08:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1000m

INNOCONSTRUCTION has been narrowly beaten in both starts over this C&D and will have plenty of followers. He has shown a quick turn of foot and looks one of the better bets on the card. FLYING HIGH has placed in his last two starts and should give another good account of himself, despite having to shoulder top weight.
09:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1600m

CHING produced a good latest win under Hewitson and it will be no surprise to see him rack-up another victory. FLYING MOJITO finished 1.5 lengths behind the top selection last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and is the biggest danger. The chestnut PAKISTAN FRIEND showed improvement last time and could be one to fill the trifecta spot.
09:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

PRINCE OF PORTY caught the eye in his narrow debut victory over Flying High and it will be interesting to see if the form line is done any favours in Race 4. TRUST ME has finished close-up in his last two starts over this C&D. He is a genuine contender in this type of field and former South African champion jockey Hewitson takes the ride.
10:05 – Race 7 | Class 2 | 1000m

TRILLION WIN was beaten a neck by Toronado Phantom last time out. He finished 3.2 lengths behind PING HAI GALAXY in December and is now 6kgs better off at the weights. IMA SINGLE MAN is nicely weighted with apprentice Chung aboard and the form of his last run is arguably best ignored.

RISE BRETHREN renews a healthy rivalry with RUNNING GLORY. His last win came under French-ace Badel and will be doing his best work late. RUNNING GLORY was a beaten favourite in a Group 3 last time. He is fortunate to be under “The Bowman Drive” and can earn his seventh career victory.
11:10 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

MAGNIAC finished right behind YOUTHFUL DEAL in his Hong Kong debut run. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line. SUPREME LUCKY is chasing a hat-trick of wins after defeating Brave Dreams last time. He is still on the upgrade and runs well for apprentice Poon. WINGS OF WAR has caught the eye in his recent trials and could be one to keep an eye on.
11:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1600m

CIRCUIT MIGHTY was held up for a number of strides last time when beaten 1.5 lengths behind Happy Together. Former Godolphin rider De Sousa has kept faith in the ride and from his neat draw, definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. CAPITAL LEGEND managed to finish just in front of SINBA last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and both must be considered in the lucky last!
