YARMOUTH
Race 3 No3 DREAM VEGA (Nap)
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: Kieran Shoemark
DREAM VEGA is up against a couple of previous winners in the best quality race on this card. The daughter of Lope De Vega finds herself in a rematch with her Doncaster conqueror RANEEM, but there was just a neck in it on Town Moor, and at the revised weights she’s entitled to turn the tables.
Race 6 No3 ZAFAAN
Trainer: Tom Clover – Jockey: Billy Loughnane
Fast ground specialist ZAFAAN edged home in a classified here last time on a belated first outing of the year. Back in handicap company, his record here reads 4811, and he has every chance of making a third success at the seaside venue in his last three visits.
CATTERICK BRIDGE
Race 3 No3 WARBY (Nap)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan
WARBY gave us a good run for our money as a 22-1 roughie on her introduction here. She was no match for the odds-on Minzelle, but should be more streetwise in the same vein as the colourful Yorkshire character she is named after. She can take the spoils in the colours of Valmont.
Race 6 No4 VELVET RHYTHM
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Rowan Scott
As a three time scorer from only five outings in 2026, VELVET RHYTHM needs taking seriously at a course where her last two wins were achieved. Track craft is important round these tight turns and the selection handles the undulations especially well. She needs to defy another rise in the weights, but is in the form to do that.
CHEPSTOW
Race 3 No6 KEN BRÛLÉE
Trainer: Mark Usher – Jockey: Ryan Kavanagh
KEN BRÛLÉE has given his owners plenty of fun since moving onto turf this season with a Lingfield success and a good earning run here at the end of last month amongst his achievements. He now steps up to 1400 metres off bottom weight in a race that might not take much winning.
Race 5 No3 SIOUX WARRIOR
Trainer: Adrian Wintle – Jockey: Finley Marsh
SIOUX WARRIOR numbers just one success at Brighton on his CV which happened well over a year ago. That said, he finds himself in a race that could be his for the taking if he can repeat his last run, when in first time cheek pieces a poor start might have cost him. The headgear is retained for a move up to a more suitable 1400 metres.
Race 6 No4 ATATURK (Nap)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Rob Hornby
A name to conjure with and the best bet on this card is ATATURK. The son of Golden Horn is unexposed after just four career starts and put in a career best to fail by a nose on handicap bow at Ffos Las. The winner Worlington flopped at Lingfield on Monday, and while that’s worrying it might be hasty to take it at face value as he was beaten a long way out.
KEMPTON PARK
Race 3 No10 KASHOODA
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy
Life under a 7lb penalty could be made tough for ALSHERA by the equally promising KASHOODA. The selection attracted abundant support on debut at Lingfield, and although unable to hold a candle to odds-on Sunshine Star stayed on from an impossible position for a minor cheque. Not only will she have learned from that, but the extra 200 metres will bring her stamina further into play.
Race 4 No2 BAILEYS KHELSTAR (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Oisin Murphy
Murphy has really clicked with the versatile BAILEYS KHELSTAR who has been running well at tracks as varied as Newbury and Catterick. The combination easily landed the odds laid on them at the first named course with their rivals string out like washing. This is only a fourth ever run on sand for the Nap, but he’s won and finished second on it and should prove very hard to beat.
Race 7 No9 BEAU JARDINE
Trainer: Rachel Bridger – Jockey: Luke Morris
Having progressed when switched back to racing on grass, and scoring at Lingfield last time, BEAU JARDINE needs to end a long wait for success on sand that goes back to his first race on the surface in 2021. He didn’t manage to end the wait in eight runs through the winter, but now has his tail up in a race that he and the equally in-form UNION ISLAND could dominate.
