The first set was close, with both players hitting strong shots and vying for control. Sabalenka stayed calm and played aggressively when it mattered most, winning the set 6-4.

 In the second set, Alexandrova fought hard and kept the pressure on, showing her determination and refusing to give up. The crowd saw several tense moments as both players battled for important points.

Sabalenka’s powerful serve and confidence enabled her to stay ahead. She won the second set 6-4 and finished the match with a smile and clear relief.

Sabalenka will face Nikola Bartunkova on Thursday, June 18. At just 20 years old, Nikola Bartunkova is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young players in women’s tennis.

 The Czech star started playing professional tournaments as a teenager in 2021 and has steadily worked her way up the rankings, reaching a career-high of No. 65 in the world in 2026.

Although she is still chasing her first WTA title, she has already won six ITF singles titles and achieved several impressive results, including reaching the Wimbledon girls’ singles final and a WTA 125 final
