“He was always in the box before, but he really learned the playmaking here,” Hoeness told the media. “Under Vincent Kompany, he added a running element to his game. And the passes! He plays 70-meter passes to Michael Olise from a standing position. It’s incredible.”

Hoeness also praised Kane’s influence off the pitch. “He’s such a great character. A real role model for our young players. They look up to him in the dressing room.

“We can only be proud to have him in our team,” he said.

Kane’s impact on the pitch is clear. His presence lifts teammates, a fact highlighted by Kingsley Coman, who compared him to Robert Lewandowski: “Harry makes the winger better. He won’t just be there to finish, but he will put you in front of the goal. He will find the right pass. Sometimes I think he enjoys that as much as scoring himself.”

This evolution in Kane’s game comes at a critical time for Bayern. The team has several important matches ahead. They face FC St. Pauli away in the Bundesliga on Saturday, 11 April, before returning to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. After a 2-1 first-leg win at the Santiago Bernabeu on 7 April, Bayern will host Real Madrid for the decisive second leg on Wednesday, 15 April.

Kane’s growth as a playmaker may prove crucial as Bayern push on in both competitions.
