The England captain picked up a knock during the international break, raising doubts about his availability. Those concerns grew when he was left out of Bayern’s weekend fixture against SC Freiburg. However, the decision was understood to be precautionary rather than forced.

Reports from Spain now suggest Kane is doing everything possible to be ready for Tuesday’s encounter in Madrid. There is growing confidence within Bayern that their leading striker will be fit enough to feature in what is shaping up to be a decisive European tie.

Midfielder Joshua Kimmich played down the injury fears, joking that Kane would still take to the pitch “even in a wheelchair” if required. Meanwhile, England manager Thomas Tuchel also described the issue as minor, further easing concerns.

Kane’s importance to Bayern cannot be overstated. The striker has delivered 48 goals in all competitions this season, underlining his role as the focal point of the team’s attack. His movement, finishing, and leadership have been central to Bayern’s success, and his presence would provide a major boost ahead of facing Madrid.

For Vincent Kompany, having Kane available could prove decisive. Bayern arrive in strong form, while Madrid are under pressure following a recent setback domestically, leaving their European campaign as a key focus.

With two of Europe’s biggest clubs set to collide, Kane’s fitness may yet shape the outcome of a high-stakes night in Madrid.
