This comes after the Egyptian star spoke his mind to the media about how unhappy he is t Anfield and his relationship with Arne Slot.

“I have done so much for this club down the years and especially last season.

“Now I’m sitting on the bench and I don’t know why.

“It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.

“I got a lot of promises in the summer and so far I am on the bench for three games so I can’t say they keep the promise.

“I said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden, we don’t have any relationship. I don’t know why, but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn’t want me in the club.”

According to reports in the football world, Salah might be closing his chapter with Liverpool in January to move to Saudi Arabia. Clubs listed that are interested in the 33-year-old are Al Ahly, Al Ittihad, and Al Hilal.

Both Al Ittihad and Al Hilal have tried to get Salah’s signature for the past two years. It’s rumored that Al Lttihad made a £150 million verbal offer to Salah in September 2023, but the offer with communicated very late in the window.

Salah will travel to AFCON with the Egyptian national team on December 15. With everyone still wondering what comes next and his future hanging by a thread, Saturday is expected to be his final game for Liverpool against Brighton before he departs.
