LINGFIELD PARK

Race 1 No4 GIANTSGRAVE
Trainer: Dan Skelton – Jockey: Harry Skelton

JERIKO PLACE is a good prospect who is worth watching in the market but GIANTSGRAVE was an impressive scorer on Rules debut at Ffos Las where he powered clear on the testing ground. The former Irish pointer looks set for better th8ngs ahead, and can follow up.

Race 3 No3 KOSAC D’OUDAIRIES (Nap)
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

Former point winner KOSAC D’OUDAIRIES makes plenty of appeal granted how smoothly he made the transition from bumpers to hurdles when scoring by a wide margin at Ffos Las. That dominating display earned him a penalty, but he’s in great form, and should win again.

Race 5 No4 SKI LODGE
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Thomas Bellamy

SKI LODGE is two from four under Rules after taking out a Chepstow bumper and a maiden hurdle at Haydock. He returns with few miles on his racing clock, and plenty of room for progression in the colours of the Noel Fehily Syndicate. The switch to handicaps can see gum further progress, and he’s one to follow.

Race 6 No8 MUTUAL RESPECT (Each Way)
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

MUTUAL RESPECT returned from a breathing operation to trouble the judge at Bangor last month. The run has put a cutting edge onto the consistent nine-year-old who can make it a fourth triumph over fences for a yard running into form.

KELSO

Race 3 No2 SAINT MALINAS
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Craig Nichol

SAINT MALINAS ran well to earn on both starts as a novice last season and has done well for his summer at grass. He finds himself in a competitive heat but is fancied to go well on a first run out of Greystoke.

Race 5 No5 THEY’RE CHANCERS (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Richards – Jockey: Danny McMenamin

THEY’RE CHANCERS holds strong claims to take out this novices’ hurdle for the same stable. He made no mistake on his only start at Ayr back in January, and though prevented from running again remains an exciting prospect.

NEWCASTLE

Race 1 No8 DIFFERENT DRUM (Each Way)
Trainer: L Allan – Jockey: Callum Hutchinson

After a light campaign DIFFERENT DRUM can successfully defend a one race unbeaten record at Gosforth Park. He troubled the judge on his last two starts on turf and if close to his paper price represents fair win and place value.

Race 2 No5 THE TUNGUSKA EVENT (Nap)
Trainer: John Quinn – Jockey: Jack Nicholls

THE TUNGUSKA EVENT made it a successful first outing on the all-weather on handicap debut earlier in the month where in first time blinkers he bolted up. It marked a big step up on anything he shown before, and he’s strongly fancied to back it up in this humble selling nursery.

Race 5 No7 SOCIETY GIRL
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: William Carver

Despite taking a walk in the market, SOCIETY GIRL shaped with promise to claim a minor cheque on her Yarmouth introduction from which she has learned plenty. The Wootton Bassett filly faces a dangerous foe in HOSEKI, who can form the flip side of the exacta.
