PLUMPTON

Race 3 No4 MALDINI MILANO
Trainer: Paul Nicholls – Jockey: Harry Cobden

With cheek pieces added, MALDINI MILANO can outpoint Order Of Justice. The selection has an Exeter bumper success to his name and had been supported when falling at Fontwell. As long as that hasn’t adversely affected his confidence he can make this a first triumph over jumps.

Race 4 No4 LOVERDOSE
Trainer: Robert Walford – Jockey: Harry Kimber

Key to the chance of LOVERDOSE is his ability to operate well when returning from a break. He was a progressive hurdler with three successes last season, and when beaten at Newbury found only the useful Guard Duty too strong. N a tight knit affair he’s preferred to Non Stop and last year’s winner Irish Hill.

HEREFORD

Race 3 No1 GRIS MAJEUR
Trainer: Sheila Lewis – Jockey: Ben Jones

GRIS MAJEUR can confirm his superiority over Ludlow victim Redbridge Rambler in this stayers’ handicap chase. The grey was well in command on that seasonal return and should find Hereford a very similar arena at which to demonstrate his well being.

Race 6 No1 DOCTOR KILDARE (Nap)
Trainer: SamThomas – Jockey: Dylan Johnston

DOCTOR KILDARE escapes a penalty for his taking comeback success at Bangor and can show himself to be a cut above his foes with his tail up. Most of them are out of form, though an exception in Prince De Juliet, who can form the other side of the exacta.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 4 No12 SARAB STAR (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Edward Greatrex

SARAB STAR gets a first taste of running in a handicap after being sold for 200,000 guineas and returning to West Ilsley Stables. The Zoustar colt has plenty going for him from the foot of the weights as he was successful here on his only run in 2025 and has ended up with the pick of the draw in stall 5. He’s by-passed a couple of opportunities but is ready to start making up for lost time.

SOUTHWELL

Race 3 No2 HEWI (Each Way)
Trainer: Julie Camacho – Jockey: Ryan Sextn

HEWI was too free for her own good yet still managed to trouble the judge on her second start at Newcastle. The Ardad filly now has a hood applied, which if helping her to settle can bring about an improved earning display.

Race 9 No3 RAFT UP (Nap)
Trainer: Harriet Bethell – Jockey: Joe Fanning

Although having to negociate a horrible draw, RAFT UP would be a deserving winner of this sprint handicap after being narrowly denied on each of his last two starts. The first furlong will be crucial for the Dandy Man gelding’s quest to get across and into the main body of the pack.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 3 No1 DEPORTED (Nap)
Trainer: Ollie Sangster – Jockey: Jamie Spencer

DEPORTED was only denied in the closing stages of his second start at Kempton which proved his suitability to the 1400 metres trip. He will be even more streetwise for this restricted maiden, and can open his account.

Race 4 No5 BLUE JAY WAY
Trainer: John Richard – Jockey: Ethan Tindall

BLUE JAY WAY coped with a class hike to deliver over course and distance and finds himself with a good slot n the gate for his bid to complete a hat-trick. The bargain basement purchase gets on well with his apprentice pilot and can swoop to conquer in the short straight.

Race 6 No11 PAPA COCKTAIL
Trainer: Michael Herrington – Jockey: Jack Mitchell

PAPA COCKTAIL is turning into a progressive sprinter as shown with his four lengths triumph on his latest visit to Dunstall Park. He seems to have recaptured the best of his old form, and though the draw hasn’t been kind to him he can overcome it.
