ASCOT

Race 1 No9 AT THE OCHE (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: James Turner

AT THE OCHE has run well on both career starts over hurdles, latterly scoring in decisive fashion at FFos Las. In the colours of his trainer he’s strongly fancied to follow up.

Race 5 No8 MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE (Each Way)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: James Turner

A wind operation seems to have assisted MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE who came clear of the remainder when second at Chepstow and could progress from that at a course where he’s run well in the past.

Race 6 No4 THE CHANGING MAN
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Brendan Powell

THE CHANGING MAN posted a career best effort when landing an incident packed Reynoldstown Chase here while he ran well in defeat on several occasions. A good jumper who likes to be ridden promisingly, he is ready for this return to the fray.

WETHERBY

Race 2 No9 PEP TALKING
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian- Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

PEP TALKING has de eloped into a consistent performer over two and a half miles and off bottom weight and with a fitness edge on some of his opponents can again get into the shake-up.

Race 3 No1 GOLDEN ACE
Trainer: Jeremy Scott – Jockey: Lorcan Williams

This Listed mares’ hurdle should see last season’s Champion Hurdle winner GO!DEN ACE making a successful return. She’s well clear of her two rivals on ratings and her smart turn of foot should seal it for her at the business end of proceedings.

Race 4 No3 POTTERS CHARM (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

POTTERS CHARM makes considerable sense on his return to action following a breathing operation. He was a top class novice and put in a sequence of four successes before a first defeat and then fifth place in the Turners Novices’ Hurdle (Grade 1) at Cheltenham. That was a satisfactory effort, but now up in trip he can show himself to be a leading candidate for the Stayers’ Hurdle next March.
