BRIGHTON

Race 4 No7 STEELY DAN (Each Way)
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Jason Watson

Although starting at 125-1 for his latest outing at Windsor, STEELY DAN ran better than his eventual placing indicates, while the race earned him a mark. Interestingly he takes a big step up on the distance ladder on a first handicap assignment, making him one to bear in mind for a bet should there be any money for him.

Race 6 No6 DINAH MYTE (Nap)
Trainer: John Gallagher – Jockey: Jack Doughty

The hooded DINAH MYTE did not go unbacked when coming out of the wilderness to open her account at Ffos Las where she revelled in the testing conditions. Similar terrain awaits the daughter of Sixties Icon who in this weak affair can follow-up.

LEICESTER

Race 1 No7 DARN HOT MYSTERY (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy -Jockey: Liam Wright

DARN HOT MYSTERY has largely underwhelmed this year but it might be hasty to write off the Too Darn Hot filly, who after trying to wite her latest race at Lingfield capitulated inside the final furlong. If she can be waited with on this return to grass a better showing is in the offing.

Race 4 No5 OH YES YOU DO (Each Way)
Trainer: David Menuisier – Jockey: Hector Crouch

It’s worth following this yard in the closing weeks of the season, and OH YES YOU DO gives it gives it a solid chance of success in this first leg of the fillies’ maiden. The daughter of Zarak beat only one home on her Goodwood introduction but if she handles the preliminaries could get involved.

Race 6 No9 MANILA SCOUSE (Each Way)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: David Allan

MANILA SCOUSE makes a rare step outside Yorkshire for this spring handicap in which he should go well at a price. He made the podium at Ripon last month in a run that signals he’s on the way back.

HUNTINGDON

Race 3 No6 PEP TALKING (Nap)
Trainer: Billy Aprahamian- Jockey: Jack Andrews

PEP TALKING ended last season in the form of his life, meeting a massively in form opponent when denied in his hat-trick bid at Warwick. He’s in good order for this return to the fray, and has probably done enough work to enable him to give a good account.

SOUTHWELL

Race 2 No14 ZARNICA (Nap)
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Oisin Orr

Expert Eye filly ZARNICA needs to overcome an outer draw, but if breaking smarty is the one to beat in this restricted novice. She missed the break but really powered home when the penny dropped to be narrowly beaten on her Newcastle introduction and is going to be a lot more streetwise.

Race 6 No4 MOAB
Trainer: Henrietta Knight – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

MOAB has earned on his last two outings for a stable that is doing well with its small team for the Flat. Though the money for him went west at Ffos Las he ran into the money in a better race at Kempton, and is fancied to gain an overdue first success for his trainer.

Race 8 No6 KAMBERLEIGH
Trainer: Darryl Holland – Jockey: David Egan

On his first handicap assign KAMBERLEIGH is worth a market check. He was a 150-1 shot when troubling the judge over this course and distance last month and just needs a small jump forward to make a splash.
