Kane, 32, matched Bobby Moore’s tally of 108 England caps in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Andorra at Villa Park.
Despite having just 12 touches and two shots in that game, Tuchel insisted the Bayern Munich forward remains a decisive figure for his side.
“I think like always at the beginning of the season, for every player, you just try to find your rhythm and it’s getting there,” Tuchel said. “He has already scored four or five goals for Bayern, so he’s there. There are no doubts about him.”
The England captain, who became his country’s all-time leading goalscorer earlier this year, is set to lead the line again in Belgrade.
Tuchel acknowledged that Ollie Watkins is the only other natural centre-forward in the current squad, with Ivan Toney and Dominic Solanke left out of the September fixtures, but he dismissed concerns over a lack of depth.
“We have Ollie, we have Harry, Marcus Rashford can play there, Jarrod Bowen can play there, Anthony Gordon played there for Newcastle,” Tuchel explained.
“Phil Foden can play in the nine, Morgan Rogers can play in the nine. Let’s see who catches form and catches fire in the Premier League or wherever and starts scoring. But yes, we have enough firepower.”
England’s victory against Andorra strengthened their position at the top of Group K, but Serbia in Belgrade promises to be a far sterner challenge.
Kane, already off the mark with Bayern this season after another prolific start in Germany, will again be relied upon to provide the cutting edge.
