REDCAR

Race 3 No5 BOLLIN NEIL (Neil)
Trainer: Tim Easterby – Jockey: Elizabeth Gale

Although it’s over three years since BOLLIN NEIL won on the Flat he has fared better over hurdles. He was only just out of the money on the latest of three outings on the level at Carlisle, and Gale is an interesting booking for him.

Race 7 No4 STORMY PEARL
Trainer: David Thompson – Jockey: Rhys Elliott

The front running tactics employed by STORMY PEARL at Hamilton could well be repeated over this longer 1200 metres. He was showing no sign of stopping at the business end, on what was his best effort of the season.

NEWTON ABBOT

Race 3 No5 TESTFLIGHT
Trainer: Sue Gardner – Jockey: Tabitha Worsley

TESTFLIGHT carried my money when second in a chase here at the start of the month and the former point winner needs taking seriously competing on the same terrain. It’s her third visit to the Devon course in as many starts this year, and though still a maiden that can change if she puts her track craft to best use.

Race 6 No5 LA QUARITE (Nap)
Trainer: Mickey Bowen – Jockey: Sean Bowen

A drop back in trip could do the trick for LA QUARITE who has troubled the judge in each of his three outings this year. It’s taking him a long time to get his head in front, but he’s in good hands and can in taking the spoils show himself to be the best bet on the card.

STRATFORD

Race 2 No4 NAP HAND (Nap)
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Tom Cannon

This should prove a straightforward task for NAP HAND. The dual purpose performer earned on two of his three starts over hurdles and has run well in three races on the Flay through the early summer. He has plenty of untapped potential and will be well suited by this sharp track.

Race 5 No1 OBSESSEDWITHYOU
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

Since going over fences OBSESSEDWITHYOU has never looked back. She on the cusp of completing a fine hat-trick from a 9lb higher mark than for her latest triumph at Bangor. She looked to have plenty up her sleeve, and on only a fourth start over the larger obstacles should have more to offer.

Race 7 No3 HURST HILL
Trainer: Seamus Mullins – Jockey: Daniel Sansom

HURST HILL continued to operate on an upward curve when scoring at Newton Abbot. The mare faces strong competition from Moro Rock and Ocean Legacy, but is only 2lb higher and remains attractively weighted.
