The victory, secured with four games to spare, confirmed Liverpool’s second Premier League title in Salah’s tenure, leaving Arsenal unable to close the gap.

Salah’s third goal in the Tottenham rout marked his 28th league strike of the season, complemented by 18 assists, bringing his total goal involvements to 46.

This surpasses his previous best of 41 from his debut season at Anfield in 2017-18. Now, the Egyptian star is just one goal or assist shy of matching the Premier League record of 47 goal involvements in a single season, set by Thierry Henry in 2002-03, and two away from claiming it outright.

Speaking to Sky Sports’ Daniel Sturridge, Salah said: “Goal involvements, yes, for sure. Hopefully I’m going to break it soon. I know I broke it for a 38-game season already. So now I think I have one assist to go. It’s something pushing me forward to keep going and keep working hard.”

With four matches remaining and Salah having failed to contribute in only seven games this season, the record seems within reach. His relentless drive for accolades has been evident throughout his Liverpool career.

Upon signing a two-year contract extension earlier this season, Salah said: “I had my best years here. I played eight years, hopefully it’s going to be 10.

“I signed because I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. Keep supporting us, and we’ll give it our best.”

Liverpool’s official X account celebrated the title win, posting: “Champions of England! The Reds are unstoppable!” Meanwhile, Salah shared his pride, writing on X: “We fought for this. For the fans, for the city, for the club. Premier League champions!”

The Reds’ title success and Salah’s pursuit of history underscore their dominance this season. With the record in sight and a hunger for more silverware, Liverpool are poised to continue their reign under Salah’s leadership next term.
