This development will see PPDS, a subsidiary of Philips, shift from being merely the exclusive digital display supplier to becoming an official team partner.

The partnership signifies a deepening relationship. PPDS products are already integrated into Red Bull’s operations, notably at its technology campus in Milton Keynes.

PPDS will continue exclusively supplying Red Bull, a relationship that began in 2022 when they joined forces with the six-time F1 constructors’ champions.

“In the fast-paced world of Formula One, if you stop innovating or striving to be better, you’re settling for second best,” Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said. “This is something we believe in everything we do, both on and off the racetrack. Therefore, we must choose the right partners to join us on our journey, whether building new engines or providing best-in-class digital displays.

“With PPDS, we have partners who share our philosophy and ambitions, and we are delighted to be extending into a new era with them.”

Red Bull has already installed a record-breaking 46.25 meter-wide Philips dvLED wall in Milton Keynes and plans to continue innovating with PPDS, including expanding the use of tailored solutions.

Martijn van der Woude, PPDS’ vice president of global marketing and business development, stated, “In AV the best success stories are driven by true partnerships. Industry leaders and pioneers coming together to deliver winning solutions.

“That essence is fully captured working with Oracle Red Bull Racing, teams like ourselves, that prefer to lead rather than follow and are not afraid to take risks to achieve their goals and ambitions.

“We are incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve together and look forward to continuing this success.”
