SOUTHWELL

Race 5 No1 BANK ON FRANK
Trainer: Ben Pauling – Jockey: Ben Jones

The Pauling stable is really getting into gear and money for BANK OF FRANK may prove significant. The six-year-old is making a first outing under Rules in a race that looks strong numerically but not so much in terms of solid form from its runners.

Race 7 No4 KINGOFTHESWNGERZ
Trainer: Harriet Dickin – Jockey: Bradley Harris

On a tough card for punting KINGOFTHESWINGERZ is worth a bet. A recent second at Ffos Las reads well especially as it was the selection’s first run of the season, while he’s in a race where many of the protagonists are badly out of form.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 8 No3 EPSOM FAITHFULL
Trainer: Pat Phelan – Jockey: Paddy Bradley

It could be wise to wait until deep into this marathon fixture before having a bet. EPSOM FAITHFULL came good at this course last month and can show that his 100-1 delivery was no fluke by thwarting the lightly raced Hebridean Nomad.

Race 9 No1 ONE MORE WAVE
Trainer: Jonny Portman – Jockey: Rob Hornby

As a pea out of the same pod ONE MORE WAY should give us a good run for our money in the nightcap. He stemmed the tide of a series of defeats with a last gasp triumph at Southwell, and is fancied to follow-up on a belated first visit to Lingfield.

NEWCASTLE

Race 2 No12 LASTING LOVE (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Jason Hart

Although she’s squandered a few chances, LASTING LOVE may benefit by the arrival of a new jockey on her back. She’s earned on all three starts since returning from a mid summer break and can get the better of market rival Fireblade.

Race 3 No3 FORT GEORGE
Trainer: Ed Walker – Jockey: Paul Mulrennan

FORT GEORGE made the podium for a second time in as many starts when second over this course and distance last month. He can utilise that valuable experience to telling effect and make this a first career win.

Race 4 No6 SHERLOCK
Trainer: Kevin Ryan – Jockey: Shane Gray

SHERLOCK has been inching towards a first triumph and put in a career best when second at Southwell last month. He recieved a 4lb rise in the weights for his troubles, but still looks the pick in this small field nursery and can open his account.

Race 9 No4 TRAIS FLUORS
Trainer: Linda Perrett – Jockey: Daniel Muscutt

Veteran TRAIS FLUORS cashed in on a plunging mark when scoring over course and distance last month to notch a first success since January. From a very good draw the eleven-year-old should make it back-to-back successes.
