PLUMPTON

Race 1 – JUNKANOO 11/8

JUNKANOO (9) finished 2L second in a higher graded hurdle at Ascot tackling the same trip and rates a leading chance. GOODWIN (7) managed a 9.5L second on hurdle debut over 2m4 1/2f here in November. Lesser journey is of note and if jumping better rates a chance. Consider.

EL SAVIOUR (1) will have to defy a penalty following his 0.5L win at Warwick during November. Though not the toughest race can come on from that. WALKS LIKE THE MAN (12) was a notable purchase after winning a point to point. Won his first jumpers flat then struggled in a listed jumpers flat at Cheltenham. Could prove interesting.

Race 3 – FIERCE WARRIOR 5/2

BENTLEY’S RETURN (2) was 14L third at Fontwell in October over a 1f shorter distance. Made a bad mistake at the seventh there so could do better. Rates a leading chance.

FIERCE WARRIOR (6) jumped left and appeared wayward on hurdle debut at Market Rasen finishing 14.5L fifth tackling 2m1/2f. If jumping better there could be progress. Consider.

MENAGGIO (10) looked as though he may come on for the run when 18L fifth at Kempton in November.

JACK SPARROW GREY (8) kept on well and showed ability running 10.75L fifth in a jumpers flat at Sandown during November. Interesting now hurdling and the extra 4½f to help.

Race 5 – COMMANDING VIEW 6/1

Lightly raced COMMANDING VIEW (5) managed a 13.75L sixth at Warwick in November tackling this trip. Looked to have needed the outing so may come on representing the in form Mel Rowley. Leading chance.

A 3½f drop in journey might suit EMBOLDEN (10) who ran 33L seventh at Lingfield during November. Consider.

TELLMESOMETHINGOOD (3) finished 13L third at Lingfield a month ago. Might want further but could improve from the outing. ATREIDES (2) was 15.5L third at Taunton and dropping back 3f in distance to suit.

Race 7 – LADY D’ADRANVILLE 3/1

REALTA LIATH (10) was a notable purchase after a point-to-point win. Interesting on debut. Leading chance. THE SECRET PEARL (11) finished 8L second at Warwick in November. And may come on for that. Consider.

CHASE PARK (3) showed ability when 1.75L fourth at Huntingdon in October. Might want further with hurdles. DANCE IN THE PARK (4) ran 1.25L second at Fontwell during September. Did show inexperience fading. Races this time without the hood.
