Friday 14 April
Schalke 11/10 | Draw 9/4 | Hertha Berlin 5/2 (19:30)
Kicking off the Bundesliga action this Friday, a bottom-of-the-table clash between 18th-placed Schalke and 17th-place Hertha Berlin ensues. With just seven remaining fixtures, this could well and truly be the relegation decider. Neither side look up for the fight based on recent form and a draw is highly possible.
Saturday 15 April
Bayern Munich 19/100 | Draw 13/2 | Hoffenheim 10/1 (14:30)
Bayern Munich are flying, but they do not have room to breathe at the top off the table, plus a midweek clash with Manchester City makes life even more difficult. Squad rotation for Thomas Tuchel is of the utmost importance after securing a hard fought 1-0 victory over Freiburg with a full-strength squad – bar Manuel Neuer. Despite Hoffenheim being on a decent run of form, Bayern should be too strong to pass up on the Half-time/Full-time win.
RB Leipzig 1/4 | Draw 5/1 | Augsburg 9/1 (14:30)
After a massive midweek victory in the DFB Pokal over Dortmund to cut a three-match goalless and winless run, Leipzig found a first Bundesliga win since the start of March. Augsburg have some distance from the relegation scrap, so, they may just be a little complacent. Back the home side.
Stuttgart 12/5 | Draw 14/5 | Borussia Dortmund 20/21 (14:30)
Borussia Dortmund were able to distance themselves from Union Berlin with a goal on either side of the half with a 2-1 victory last time out. In the reverse fixture, Dortmund was able to thump Stuttgart 5-0, and backing Dortmund here is easy.
Eintracht Frankfurt 7/10 | Draw 16/5 | Borussia Monchengladbach 10/3 (18:30)
Oliver Glasner has not had a successful season with Eintracht – like last year – and a 3-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen has dampened the hopes for a European place. The Eagles now face Monchengladbach, who found their first win in five fixtures. Both teams to score here is my play.
Sunday 16 April
Werder Bremen 8/5 | Draw 5/2 | Freiburg 6/4 (14:30)
Freiburg fought hard to try and trump the log leaders Bayern last time out but suffering a 1-0 loss can be perceived as a free hit. Werder Bremen, on the other hand, were close to losing their 14th fixture of the season at Mainz but secured a 2-2 draw in the final minute. The value bet here is a win for Freiburg.
Union Berlin 4/7 | Draw 14/5 | Bochum 9/2 (16:30)
Union Berlin have been on a slump, but you can always trust their home form to pick up a result. Against relegation-threatened Bochum, we can expect a full complement of points for the home team.
Wolfsburg 17/10 | Draw 5/2 | Bayer Leverkusen 27/20 (18:30)
Closing out gameweek 28, Bayer Leverkusen head to Wolfsburg in search of their eighth straight win across all competitions, and you can add the away win to all multiples as the banker of the weekend.
