CATTERICK

Race 2 – WITHOUT DELAY 25/2

Tracey Waggott’s horse box has not had to travel far to reach the North Yorkshire track and the application of cheekpieces could help her WITHOUT DELAY go one better than his track-and-trip second last time.

The consistent operator was sent off favourite on that occasion and although having to settle for the silver medal, the front two pulled clear of the rest.

She has a higher mark to contend with here, but still rates as the one to catch in the Racing TV Club Day Handicap.

Race 3 – DELLA 1/1

Andrew Balding does not send many runners to Catterick but he looks to have found a good opening for DELLA in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Restricted Novice Stakes.

Balding, who has made a blistering start to September, has been patient with Della, a daughter of Australian sprinter Brazen Beau.

Unraced as a juvenile, she made an inauspicious beginning at Wolverhampton in March when last of eight.

She was only a 5/1 chance that day, though, so was clearly thought of in some terms and showed why next time out when second at Southwell.

Della wore a hood, although she was still fairly keen, however next time out she missed the break before running on into third.

Balding has given her over 100 days off to further strengthen and she looks the one to beat.

Race 5 – JAMIL 5/1

With four wins from seven starts JAMIL looks the most solid option with the eight-year-old course specialist finishing a decent third here attempting the journey in latest outing. Holds obvious claims off the same mark.

This Ones For Fred narrowly defeated Jamil over course and distance two outings ago and although worse off at the weights can remain competitive after a fair fourth at Bath.

Prince Achille would be of note on form shown when denied a head in a 1 and a half mile contest at Thirsk on his penultimate start.

Race 7 – WRECK IT RYLEY 4/1

Grant Tuer has his team in good form at present and WRECK IT RYLEY looks to tick plenty of boxes here.

The gelded son of Gutaifan followed up his Ayr success with a good third over 7f at Musselburgh last month and can return to the winners’ enclosure with ground to suit.

Vortigan finished third behind Wreck It Ryley. at Ayr and should be involved with a swing in the weights.

Highfield Viking, who was third over 7f at Haydock a month ago could be thereabouts dropped 1lbs.

LEICESTER

Race 2 – SURVEYOR 7/2

James Fanshawe’s SURVEYOR showed up well enough on debut to suggest she is the one to beat in the British EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Leicester.

From a decent Cheveley Park family, she was fourth behind a smart Balding newcomer in a contest in which the second has come out and won since.

Fanshawe debutants are renowned for taking a giant leap forward from their first runs so expect oodles of improvement.

Race 4 – COOL DIVIDEND 2/1

Bank on Clive Cox’s COOL DIVIDEND to make it third time lucky in the Tony Toach’s Made It To 80 – EBF Novice Stakes.

The Profitable colt has finished second in both outings to date but showed enough encouraging signs over course and distance last month to suggest a first win would not be far away.

Race 6 – LOVE YOU GRANDPA 5/1

The Frankel filly LOVE YOU GRANDPA has endured a stop-start career though a second in June on handicap debut at Windsor was encouraging.

The slight drop in trip promises to suit and she remains capable of better.

Zarabanda bids for a hat-trick after a stylish success at Ripon in latest outing. Will have a career-high mark to defy but further improvement possible.

Oh So Grand is yet to add to early season maiden and novice victories. Latest second from 1lbs lower puts her in the mix.

Race  – MOULIN BOOJ 17/10

MOULIN BOOJ could have more to offer after winning comfortably at Bath six days ago.

There is a 6lbs penalty to carry however he holds strong claims nonetheless.

Leodis Dream made virtually all tackling 5f at Beverley and is up 2lbs for that success. Has been rated much higher in the past.

Hurt You Never won four in a row earlier in the season including at this track. Handicapper has caught up since but dropping to 5f could spark improvement.

KELSO

Race 1- CZECH HER OUT 9/4

CZECH HER OUT gained a fifth hurdling win of her career when a six length winner on stable debut at Perth, and could prove dangerous back up in trip.

Captain Tommy won last start when stepping up in distance and is competitively weighted to replicate.

Judicial Law adds first-time blinkers to his arsenal and cannot be ruled out in current condition.

Having found success at Perth, Burbank is feared resuming from a short break.

Race 3 – PULL AGAIN GREEN

(SCRATCHED)

Race 4 – RAKHINE STATE 9/2

RAKHINE STATE managed to land a three-runner affair at Perth when securing his first fences win. Expected to be thereabouts slightly up in trip.

First Revolution is a four-time chase winner who reappeared from a short break to keep on well and register a second tackling this trip at Market Rasen last month.

Fusain is two from four over fences since receiving wind surgery and should be feared, while the experienced Sword Of Fate secured his ninth career win chasing at Perth and should be respected.

Race 6 – I AM SPIDER MAN 17/10

I AM SPIDER MAN ran as favourite fifteen days ago at Downpatrick however did not jump fluently and could only manage ninth of eleven.

May bounce back with a big run especially if proving popular again.

Jimmy Rabbitte placed the past four outings including once over course and distance. Any improvement will see him pose a major threat.

Call Me Harry could prove a wild card third-up following wind surgery and is feared.

Rowdy Rustler could be worth an each-way shout if finding best form, but has not done enough of late to warrant backing.
