Race 3 – PRINCE ALEX 4/1
Ben Ffrench Davis can enjoy a day to remember at Epsom as he teams up with PRINCE ALEX in the Everyone’s Booking Fit Show 2025 Jump Jockeys Derby Handicap.
Trained by his father, Dominic, Prince Alex finished third at Goodwood on his first start for the handler and remains 5lb lower than his last winning mark.
Race 4 – MREMBO 28/10
MREMBO bids for a hat-trick following a pair of victories at Bath and Windsor recently. Step up in class, but slight drop in trip and handles undulating tracks well.
Lethal Touch found success in his last visit to Epsom in August over the same distance, up in level and warrants respect.
Semser and Lost In Time are also both worth considering.
Race 6 – NEW HEIGHTS 4/1
NEW HEIGHTS found success in a course and distance handicap at this level in July. Unbeaten at Epsom, with two wins from tow outings.
The main danger comes from Dion Baker who arrives in solid place form with a pair of runner-up efforts in this company at Brighton and Yarmouth.
Bowland Park and Roundabout Silver shouldn’t be ruled out.
Race 7 – ROSE BOLT 5/2
ROSE BOLT scored narrowly at Bath two runs ago attempting a one mile maiden before a seventh on handicap debut on the all-weather at Kempton. A step up in trip, but can improve further.
Shot Of Love ran well at Thirsk two weeks ago when a close third in a one mile handicap. Is back up in level and holds claims.
Put Kentucky Bluegrass and Canadiansmokeshow on your shortlist too.
CHELMSFORD CITY
Race 1 – BUNGLE BAY 5/1
BUNGLE BAY performed well when fourth over five and a half furlongs at Bath, and has strong claims to register his third career win.
Selina’s Star is expected to go well following a fifth over 5f here a month ago.
Starjik and Poseidon Prince should be part of the calculations.
Race 3 – STORMY WAVES 17/10
STORMY WAVES recorded a third over seven furlongs at Doncaster, and could break his maiden at the third attempt.
Blown Away rates highly following a third over seven furlongs at Newmarket three weeks ago.
Let’s Dream and Al Mootamarid are of note.
Race 6 – TOLSTOY 4/1
Tolstoy returned to winning ways with a victory over six furlongs at Brighton, and looks up to completing another victory, if running well at Southwell on Wednesday evening.
Justcallmepete delivered a two length victory in a six furlong handicap here and holds strong claims.
Clipsham La Habana and Open Mind will be in the mix.
Race 8 – LAWMAN BLIS 4/1
LAWMAN BLIS delivered a victory over one and a half miles at Wolverhampton two weeks ago and could complete a double.
Sun Festival is capable of going well following a fourth at Beverley at the start of the month.
Hot Team and She’s A Mirage shouldn’t be ruled out.
