Race 1 – Cherry Cola SP

CHERRY COLA (11) can be competitive with a low weight. Reverts to the flat after a disappointing hurdle outing at Plumpton. Useful third at Bath over 1 ¾m prior. Leading chance.

MOTAZZEN (1) aims for back to back wins following a 0.5L success at Nottingham. Firmly in the mix with a solid recent record.

YORKSEA (7) holds each way claims on seasonal reappearance. Fifth tackling track and trip making final start of previous preparation. JUSTUS (4) looks a place contender. Steps up in journey.

Race 2 – Seax SP

SEAX (6) out performed long odds making debut when runner-up in a competitive Ascot 6f event. Not beaten far finishing 1.5L fourth on the AW subsequently. Leading chance.

AL SHABAB STORM (2) placed both career starts and draws closer to a well-deserved success. Good second at the Newmarket Rowley Mile when last seen. Capable.

BILLY WEBSTER (1) made a winning start to career scoring by a nose at Pontefract. Holds each way claims after a spell. JUNGLE MAC (4) rates an each way contender based on a good second at Kempton Park AW.

Race 4 – Hug A Tree 77/100

HUG A TREE (3) steps into handicap company for the first time searching for a maiden victory. Returned after a four month break with a well-beaten second at Beverley over 7 ½f. Top chance.

AMANCIO (6) progressed with each outing since a spell. Last seen finishing runner-up at Hamilton Park attempting 6f. Capable.

FIRST ENCORE (1) was a useful third at Salisbury two back. Rates well on that form. DEEP BLUE (2) completes the shortlist if returning to form of a debut third.

Race 5 – Black Run 2/13

BLACK RUN (2) provided a pleasing start to career when third at Deauville over 7f. Entitled to come forward for the run. Leading chance.

ANZAC DAY (1) delivers racecourse debut. Represents a leading yard. By Australia and expected to make a bold bid.

GAMES PEOPLE PLAY (7) is anticipated to enjoy the stamina test debuting for the Beckett yard. SAM HAWKENS (6) holds each way claims as a nicely bred debutante. Watch market for best guide.

Race 6 – Grey’s Monument 36/100

GREY’S MONUMENT (1) received a five month spell since a good second in the Listed Heron Stakes. Reverts to handicap company and is capable of overcoming top weight.

KATHAB (6) maintains excellent form with two wins and two placings from four previous outings. Good 1L second tackling a Kempton Park AW contest in latest. Contender.

DARKNESS (4) bounced back to form with a third on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket. Place. THUNDER BALL (3) holds each way claims based on a good second over 1m at this track two back.

Race 7 – Expressionless 82/100

EXPRESSIONLESS (1) bids for a hat-trick on seasonal reappearance. Not been seen since a 1 ¹⁄₁₆m success at Epsom Downs. Rates highly despite top weight.

DOUBLE TIME (3) made the frame on past two outings including a competitive third at the Newmarket Rowley Mile. Contender.

KING’S CODE (5) was a last start winner at Chester over 7 ½f. Worth considering. DREAM OF MISCHIEF (9) holds each way claims following a third at Lingfield AW.
