NEWCASTLE

Race 1 – VICTORIANO 28/10

VICTORIANO is bidding for a hat-trick at Newcastle and the seven-year-old is three from five over course and distance.

He arrives in form following wins here and at Wolverhampton.

Also seeking a third consecutive win Valley Of Flowers triumphed with plenty in hand attempting one and a half miles at Catterick recently and must be respected under her penalty.

Other dangers include Doublethetrouble and Natacata.

Race 4 – PILLAR OF HOPE 5/2

PILLAR OF HOPE won authoritatively  at Redcar and the Charlie Johnston-trained course and distance winner looks to hold every chance of defying a 6lbs rise.

Greatgadian is well-handicapped dropping into a Class Four contest.

Races off a handy mark and brings proven winning form on this surface.

Diamondonthehill and Pastiche also merit consideration.

Race 7 – TROPICAL AIR 5/2

Given how hard he pulled over seven furlongs at Lingfield last time TROPICAL AIR did well to finish fourth that day.

He looked upwardly progressive succeeding under a penalty over course and distance beforehand and could have every chance of returning to winning ways.

Cool Run shaped as though the step back up to six furlongs would suit when third on handicap debut at Catterick last time and the addition of first-time cheekpieces could bring about some improvement.

Kandy House and Indication Call shouldn’t be ruled out.

Race 9 – WOOBAY 2/1

WOOBAY won over five furlongs at Catterick nine days back.

Booking Hollie Doyle looks positive and she can win again under the 6lbs penalty with confidence now high.

Last-time-out course and distance runner-up Elzaal makes for plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged rating.

Lady Celia and Aconcagua Mountain complete the shortlist.
