BRIGHTON

Race 4 No3 ART FANTASTIQUE (Nap)
Trainer: Tom Ward – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

Zachary has come a long way for this nursery and is a lightly-raced improver, but he might not cope with recent Windsor scorer ART FANTASTIQUE. The selection looked a different horse on that handicap debut when fitted with a tongue tie for the first time. Any breathing issues appear to be behind him, and he can defy a 6lb hike in the weights.

Race 6 No1 POETIC FORCE
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Mollie Phillips

Several go into battle in good form for this mile race though POETIC FORCE may have the strongest claims. Virtually all his races on turf happen at this course and after a deserved triumph last month he has his eye in for a trainer that loves the venue equally as much.

Race 7 No8 SEND IN THE CLOUDS
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Miss S Bowen

SEND IN THE CLOUDS did us a favour when getting home by the skin of his teeth over course and distance two weeks ago. Phillips gave the gelding a peach of a ride, and the combination make a lot of sense as a bet to follow-up at the foot of the weights in this bottom tier handicap.

WORCESTER

Race 1 No1 JET OF MAGIC (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

JET OF MAGIC is unlucky not to be unbeaten this summer as he would probably have prevailed but for unseating his pilot at Uttoxeter. He’s jumped well, over fences at home, and should have the edge over Polish, who persistently finds one to beat him.

Race 2 No8 JOYFUL KIT (Each Way)
Trainer: Harriet Brown – Jockey: David Noonan

JOYFUL KIT has been steadily getting her act together and looks an improved performer over fences. Third at this course and Market Rasen, the mare has the necessary scope for progression required to open her account.

Race 4 No5 SFORZA CASTLE
Trainer: Ben Pauling – Jockey: Kielan Woods

SFORZA CASTLE put in a PB with a recent second over this course and distance, suggesting a race of similar nature can be within his grasp. From a yard amongst the winners, he can deservedly open his account.
