PLUMPTON

Race 3 No3 CHERRY COLA
Trainer: Sheena West – Jockey: Marc Goldstein

CHERRY COLA has room for progression as a hurdler, having seen the track only three times last winter. The Sixties Icon mare comes here on the back of a smooth success on the Flat and four other earning runs at her favourite venue of Bath. She chased home Bashers Reflection on her last visit here, and will be suited by today’s conditions.

Race 6 No4 PRIVATE WALKER
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

PRIVATE WALKER put in a pleasing first effort under Rules when third at Stratford. The Milan gelding faces a potentially dangerous opponent in winning pointer Easy Peasy but is worth backing to stage a minor upset.

HAMILTON PARK

Race 1 No3 GOOD POINT
Trainer: Bryan Smart – Jockey: Graham Lee

Any money for Blue Point colt GOOD POINT would be interesting and the most experienced horse in this small field takes the best form to post with him. Beaten in a close photo at Beverley, he ran into the smart Majestic Beauty at this course but it’s doubtful there’s a runner with the same ability taking him on today, and he should open his account.

Race 4 No4 ISLE OF DREAMS
Trainer: Declan Carroll – Jockey: Zak Wheatley

Hat-trick seeker Love Lies will command the betting market on this interesting fillies’ handicap but the Lambourn raider could find ISLE OF DREAMS too hot to handle. The selection is a prolific winner in her own right with six wins in her last seven outings. She’s on a massive upward curve and will be hard to beat.
