BATH

Race 4 No9 REDREDROBIN (Nap)
Trainer: Malcolm Saunders – Jockey: Josephine Gordon

REDREDROBIN swooped to conquer at Salisbury last week and now bids to notch a first success at her local track. The mare finished last as a 66-1 shot on the only occasion Gordon partnered her previously but has won three of her last seven starts, and if turning up in the same willing form as last time can follow up.

GOODWOOD

Race 2 No8 WOODSTOCK (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

WOODSTOCK couldn’t get his feet out of the ground when losing his unbeaten record at Nottingham and has been afforded plenty of time to recover from those exertions. He’s looked assured in his work and can bounce back, although Tiger Bay looms as a big threat and should be accommodated in all exotics and also as one to have a saver on.

Race 3 No2 ARAMINTA (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Trevor Whelan

ARAMINTA came from last to first to score on her Newbury introduction before coping with a class jump to finish a close-up third in a Listed race over today’s course. Unlike most of her foes she has the points on the board, and as this longer trip and better ground should play to her strengths another big earning run is anticipated.

Race 5 No5 HADRIANUS (Each Way)
Trainer: Charlie Johnston – Jockey: Frankie Dettori

Dettori is an eye-taking booking for HADRIANUS in this Listed race that used to be a recognised trial for the Derby. The son of Galileo hails from a stable that rarely leaves this course empty-handed, and though beaten out of sight by Arrest at Chester he hated the testing ground. It remains a big ask for him to turn that around, but he’s been priced up accordingly and is value against horses like Gregory and Klondike who have bigger reputations but are up the class ladder.

Race 7 No4 SASHENKA (Each Way)
Trainer: Dominic Ffrench Davis – Jockey: Liam Keniry

SASHENKA regularly troubles the judge in her races on the level, often arriving with fewer revs beneath her bonnet than looks the case. She scraped home over hurdles at Newbury before running a super race at Cheltenham last month, and if waited with until the final yards can sink these foes.

HAYDOCK PARK

Race 4 No3 FALLEN ANGEL
Trainer: Karl Burke – Jockey: Clifford Lee

Some beautifully-bred fillies engage in this first seven furlongs race for juveniles and the best news is for FALLEN ANGEL, a daughter of Too Darn Hot out of a Lawman mare. She’s the subject of encouraging reports out of a stable that usually unleashes at least one Royal Ascot two-year-old around now, and can get the better of fellow newcomer Doubletalk.

Race 5 No9 ZOUZANNA (Nap)
Trainer: Roger Charlton – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

ZOUZANNA brings the best form from 2022 to the table in this interesting maiden and can deservedly open her account. The daughter of Zoustar finished second in each of her back-end outings and just needs to confirm that level of ability to take the spoils.

WORCESTER

Race 3 No1 GENOVESE (Nap)
Trainer: Martin Keighley – Jockey: Harry Atkins

This is best left to GENOVESE, who demonstrated her liking for the course with a Rules debut success last summer. Her two bumper runs in the winter were not so productive, but her trainer seems to have found a weak race to boost his record here.

Race 6 No3 VALENTINE GETAWAY (Each Way)
Trainer: Jonjo O’Neill – Jockey: Jonjo O’Neill Jr

The O’Neills do well at the summer fixtures here and in VALENTINE GETAWAY field a lively candidate for this mares’ race. Though well beaten in each of her starts she’s shown hints of ability, while she should be happier now contesting a full handicap.
