HEREFORD

Race 2 No7 MARBLE SANDS
Trainer: Fergal O’Brien – Jockey: Paddy Brennan

From a stable with a strong team of novices, winning bumper horse MARBLE SANDS can gain an overdue first success over jumps. He troubled the judge in all four starts after joining his handler and is ready for this first outing in almost eight months.

Race 3 No8 PRINCESS MIDNIGHT
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Harry Kimber

Kimber will take a useful 5lb off the back of PRINCESS MIDNIGHT whose record of two successes and three placed efforts from just six starts for her trainer speaks for itself. This is her first run over fences on a right-handed track, but she should prove adaptable to going that way.

Race 5 No4 MIDNIGHT JEWEL (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Longsdon – Jockey: Lilly Pinchin

MIDNIGHT JEWEL is a winner without a penalty after falling with the race at his mercy at Stratford. This normally reliable jumped can get back to winning ways as a worthy favourite.

Race 7 No4 EROS (Each Way)
Trainer: Kayley Woollacott – Jockey: Ben Godfrey

EROS put together a string of earning runs after being switched to fences. He was still in contention when falling on his latest start at Wincanton, and has worked well ahead of this return to the fray.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 4 No7 ISLAND BANDIT
Trainer: Heather Main – Jockey: Jason Watson

ISLAND BANDIT completed a hat-trick on turf in the summer and went down in a photo over this course and distance last time. He looked to enjoy the switch to Polytrack, on which he’s inexperienced and can only improve.

Race 5 No11 MR BUSTER (Nap)
Trainer: Ralph Beckett – Jockey: Rob Hornby

MR BUSTER shaped well to finish second on his Nottingham introduction. He hails from a stable full to the brim of useful juveniles, and is well drawn to assume a good stalking position.

Race 6 No5 STOWELL
Trainer: George Boughey – Jockey: David Probert

A chance is taken on STOWELL to live up to his early promise on a first start for his handler. He’s competed in Group and Listed company this year, and could be a new broom returning as he is today after a breathing operation.

PLUMPTON

Race 2 No6 SCARFACE (Nap)
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Brendan Powell

As long as he can adapt to the tight track, SCARFACE should open his account in this novices’ hurdle. He ran into some classy foes like Skytastic and Sir Gerhard at Ascot and Cheltenham, but this fine prospect is in far calmer waters today.

Race 7 No1 NEVERBEEN TO PARIS
Trainer: Pat Murphy – Jockey: Lorcan Williams

NEVERBEEN TO PARIS has the wherewithal to defy top weight and repeat his 2021 success in this race. Interestingly he’s running off the same mark and has been readied by a pleasing run on the Flat.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No6 LULWORTH COVE (Nap)
Trainer: Richard Hannon – Jockey: John Fahy

LULWORTH COVE returned from a five-month absence to trouble the judge at Windsor, a run that has put her spot on for what should prove a first career success in this fillies’ novice. She should have too many guns for Martini Nights and Calluna.

Race 6 No7 PARAMETER
Trainer: Sir Michael Stoute – Jockey: PJ McDonald

McDonald is an eye-taking booking for the lightly raced PARAMETER who is well drawn and capable of progression given her endearing pedigree.

Place Accumulator Perm (Races 2-8)

6, 7 x 5, 10 x 4, 3 x 7, 11, 1 x 7, 10 x 7, 4, 5 x 2, 7
