30/09/2021 – Thursday’s Racing Tips

30/09/2021

Neil Morrice provides his best bets and tips for Thursday 30/09/2021 racing at Salisbury and Chelmsford City.

SALISBURY – 30/09/2021

Race 2 No10 WODETON
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

WODETON was a stringer in the market before finding only Damaar his match on debut at Sandown. The son of Wootton Bassett has progressed mentally for that first foray onto the track, and in an inter3sting heat can overpower fellow once-raced Conservative.

Race 3 No1 ISRAR (Nap)
Trainer: John Gosden – Jockey: Jim Crowley

ISRAR, a son of the Oaks heroine Taghrooda, looked a very useful prospect when scoring on debut at the Doncaster St Leger fixture. The Muhaarar colt meets some well related newcomers under a penalty, and while the second home Savva Victory failed to do anything for the form when beaten at Chester, the selection is worth staying with and can follow-up on the way to better things.

Race 5 No1 INDIAN CREAK (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni

Although compromised by a wide draw, INDIAN CREAK ran a stormer to get into the money at Chester earlier in the month and has worked well subsequently to make him an enticing each-way proposition.

Race 6 No1 MAJESTIC DAWN
Trainer: Paul Cole – Jockey: Mohammed Tabdi

Withdrawn from the Cambridgeshire owing to unsuitable ground, MAJESTIC DAWN can outclass his foes under top weight in this Class2 handicap. The blinkered selection was last seen taking home a cheque in the Group 3 Rose Of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock and comes here off a select 2021 campaign.

Race 7 No11 SINGLE (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

SINGLE ran an absolute cracker when beaten just two lengths by Sea Sylph in a better race atGoodwood last week. The mare has taken those exertions in her stride and should get the strong pace required to be delivered late in the day.

CHELMSFORD CITY – 30/09/2021

Race 1 No2 BEAUTIFUL SECRET
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor – Jockey: Marco Ghiani

While this is no penalty kick, BEAUTIFULNSECREY has the points on the board after taking home a cheque on both starts. They were both attained on turf, but she’s trained well on Polytrack at home.

Race 2 No1 BURTONLODGE BEAUTY
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Charles Bishop

BURTONLODGE BEAUTY ran into one when beaten into second by Vince Lombardi at Chepstow. She has improved from race to race and deserves to go one better.

Race 4 No6 INGLETON (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Appleby – Jockey: William Buick

INGLETON faces a doughty foe in Chester scorer Abbado but himself shaped well when second to Mighty Ulysses atYarmouth. The selection was heavily supported and will know more in this fascinating juvenile contest.
