26/11/2021 – Friday’s Racing Tips

26/11/2021

Neil Morrice provides us with his best bets and tips for Friday’s racing at Newbury, Doncaster, Lingfield Park and Chelmsford City.

NEWBURY – 26/11/2021

Race 2 No1 TEA CLIPPER
Trainer: Tom Lacey – Jockey: Stan Sheppard

TEA CLIPPER took the notable scalp of Fidelio Vallis when reappearing at Chepstow and carries a 5lb penalty for his troubles. That was however a most likeable first effort over fences, and he’s fancied to go back-to-back at the main expense of Millers Bank.

Race 3 No4 GOOD RISK AT ALL
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

All eyes will be on Jonbon who defends a two race unbeaten record in bumpers. Douvan’s brother cost a king’s ransom, but is a fizzy individual whose connections have worked hard on to try to chill him. If the cork stays in the bottle he will be hard to beat, but if not GOOD RISK AT ALL can seize advantage. The selections brings smart credentials to the table, having landed a brace of Listed bumpers before shaping well when chasing home Hardkore on his debut over hurdles at Chepstow.

Race 4 No2 MISTER COFFEY
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Nico de Boinville

Few horses at Seven Barrows can match MISTER COFFEY on the gallops, and the talented gelding is the main arrow of Henderson’s two contenders for this warm contest. A winner first time back last season, he’s schooled proficiently and is expected to make up into a better chaser than he was a hurdler.

Race 5 No2 UMBRIGADO (Each Way)
Trainer: David Pipe – Jockey: David Noonan

UMBRIGADO did us a huge favour when scoring here in early March, but was a tad out of his depth in a Grade 1 novices’ chase at Aintree. After two readying runs over hurdles he can endorse his liking for this track by denying the well weighted Amour De Nuit, who is well worth a saver.

Race 6 Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle (Grade 2)
No5 INDEFATIGABLE (Nap)
Trainer: Paul Webber – Jockey: Daryl Jacob

Although 6lb worse off with Paisley Park from Wetherby last month, INDEFATIGABLE is favoured by the drying ground conditions and has a great chance of confirming her superiority over the paper favourite. The Nap appears to have thrived since that seasonal return. Paisley Park has not been without his issues and might not be the same force of old. He’s entitled to progress from his own first run back, but might find the mare too hot to handle.

DONCASTER – 26/11/2021

Race 1 No1 DINO VELVET (Nap)
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Adrian Heskin

DINO VELVET did his best in what was an impossible task in a match with Annual Invictus at Plumpton. That was his sixth earning effort in as many outings over fences, and he has the wherewithal to take care of his three foes.

LINGFIELD PARK – 26/11/2021

Race 5 No1 DUBAI HOPE (Nap)
Trainer: Saeed Bin Suroor – Jockey: Christian Howarth

Invincible Spirit filly DUBAI HOPE has been apprentice ridden to land back-to-back triumphs at Wolverhampton. Retaining the cheek pieces worn for the first time on her latest start, but under a different and less experienced rider, she is strongly fancied to complete a hat-trick.

CHELMSFORD CITY – 26/11/2021

Race 2 No1 FORCA BRASIL (Nap)
Trainer: George Boughey – Jockey: Rossa Ryan

FORCA BRASIL has winning form at Newmarket to bring to the table, while having met a useful foe when beaten by Al Barez at Wolverhampton. He makes plenty of appeal in this weakly-contested affair.

Race 7 No10 VOCATUS
Trainer: Mick Appleby – Jockey: Tom Marquand

VOCATUS steps up in trip under the same jockey who got him home at Redcar last time. That was reward for a string of earning efforts, and he’s in a good place to consolidate.
