22/11/2021 – Monday’s Racing Tips

22/11/2021

Neil Morrice provides his best bets and tips for today’s racing at Ayr, Kempton Park, Ludlow and Chelmsford City.

AYR – 22/11/2021

Race 1 No12 RAMBLE WEST (Nap)
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes

From an outfit amongst the winners in a big way, RAMBLE WEST can endorse the promise of her impressive bumper triumph at Musselburgh as she turns her attention to jumping. The Leading Light mare has schooled beautifully ahead of a race that should be well with8n her compass.

Race 6 No4 FEARLESS
Trainer: Olly Murphy – Jockey: Fergus Gregory

Heartbreak Kid will be fitter for his first run back but could have trouble preventing FEARLESS from making a winning return in his own right. Last season the selection kept company with better rivals than he meets today and he’s fit and fancied to deliver for a stable that has found its feet in recent weeks.

KEMPTON PARK – 22/11/2021

Race 2 No3 SEBASTOPOL
Trainer: Tom Lacey – Jockey: Aidan Coleman

SEBASTOPOL did his best work at the finish when chasing home the top class Third Time Lucki at Cheltenham last week. The blinkers that he wore for the first time are retained for a race that will be similarly tactical, but under patient handling he can swoop to conquer.

Race 5 No4 NEVERBEEN TO PARIS
Trainer: Pat Murphy – Jockey: Bryony Frost

NEVERBEEN TO PARIS is 3lb higher than when taking advantage of a plummeting mark to score at Plumpton. That doesn’t appear too onerous a rise, granted how much he looked to have in hand, and he’s fancied to follow-up at the main expense of Khan.

Race 6 No4 TIMBERMAN (Nap)
Trainer: Fergal O’Brien – Jockey: Liam Harrison

TIMBERMAN can prove a bet worth waiting for in the nightcap. The strong travelling six-year-old came from a long way back to storm up the final hill and take home a cheque on his return to action in a similar race at Cheltenham. In this smaller field he should enjoy racing real estate in the closing stages and cut down four-timer seeking See The Sea.

LUDLOW – 22/11/2021

Race 3 No3 TOP MAN (Nap)
Trainer: Chris Gordon – Jockey: Jamie Moore

A move up to three miles proved just the tonic for TOP MAN when he delivered at Plumpton. Along with fellow penalised Our Indic Boy, who was just as impress at Newcastle, he can dominate under the same conditional that rode him last time.

CHELMSFORD CITY – 22/11/2021

Race 3 No4 ATALANTA BREEZE (Nap)
Trainer: Marcus Tregoning – Jockey: Dougie Costello

Champs Elysees mare ATALANTA BREEZE comes here in rude health after scoring at Wolverhampton and finishing second to a handicap snip at the same track. She has solid claims to put her male rivals in this stayers’ handicap to the sword.

Race 7 No2 LENNY’S SPIRIT
Trainer: Ed Dunlop – Jockey: Rob Hornby

Most of the runners in this are out of form, but that comment doesn’t apply to consistent earner LENNY’S SPIRIT who can make this the fifth time in as many starts that he’s troubled the judge, hopefully with a well deserved victory.
