20/09/2021 – Monday’s Racing Tips

20/09/2021

Neil Morrice provides tips for Monday’s meetings at Hamilton Park, Leicester, Warwick and Wolverhampton on 20/09/2021.

HAMILTON PARK – 20/09.2021

Race 2 No1 AFTER JOHN (Each Way)
Trainer: Harvey Bastiman – Jockey: David Allan

Top weight AFTER JOHN is not straightforward but has an engine when he cares to use it. Looked to be running into form last time, and should be ready on only a fourth start in 2021.

Race 4 No2 KOEMAN (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Connor Beasley

KOEMAN has not started less than 16-1 and as high as 66-1 in each of his last seven outings. However, he’s dropped to a workable mark for this first visit to Hamilton and can raise his game from a good draw on the fence.

LEICESTER – 20/09/2021

Race 1 No4 FLASH BETTY
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Tom Marquand

FLASH BETTY has learned a lot since throwing away an early season race at this track by hanging. Forcing tactics assisted her wins at Lingfield and Wolverhampton, while she put in a good earning effort when second switched to turf at Salisbury last time. Has a top pilot in the saddle.

Race 4 No2 ANGEL AMADEA (Nap)
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Marquand has a great chance of taking out this fillies’ maiden with ANGEL AMADEA, even though her Ripon defeat when long odds-on highlights her flaws. She is proving expensive to follow, but can use her experience edge to good effect.

WARWICK – 20/09/2021

Race 2 No6 ONEHUNDREDPERCENT (Nap)
Trainer: Brian Ellison – Jockey: Sam -Davies

ONEHUNDREDPERCENT trounced a willing foe in October Storm at Sedgefield to show he’s improved for a move from Ireland. He could have been let into this novices’ handicap lightly, and looks the best bet on the card.

Race 5 No3 THREE BULLET GATE
Trainer: Robin Dickin – Jockey: Jack Quinlan

THREE BULLET GATE is a winner without a penalty granted he was in total control when taking a late fall at Market Rasen in early June. That was a much improved showing from the gelding, who was always going to find his forte when going down the chasing route.

WOLVERHAMPTON – 20/09/2021

Race 6 No1 WITH THE MOONLIGHT
Trainer: Charlie Appleby – Jockey: James Doyle

Beautiful Surprise impressed when going in at the first time of asking at Epsom. She is the main threat to WITH THE MOONLIGHT, who opened her own account when heavily supported at Chelmsford and is capable of showing she’s good enough to shrug aside her penalty for top connections.
