TEDDY’S PROFIT can give us a good start to the three-day Western meeting, climaxing with the historic Ayr Gold Cup. The Profitable colt has posted frame finishes in both career starts.he was beaten two and a quarter lengths by La Pulga at Carlisle, an effort that suggests he can cause previous scorer Outbreak problems.
Race 6: CHICHESTER (Each Way)

Since joining his trainer for a top Newmarket yard, CHICHESTER has proved a consistent performer both on turf and the all-weather. On his first visit to Ayr and with a visor replacing cheek pieces he can take home a cheque in this hotly contested Kilkerran Cup.

Dubawi colt INGLETON is the subject of favourable reports from Newmarket and can make a winning debut in the Godolphin silks. He’s out of a Galileo mare, and unless running green can endorse all the promise he’s shown his connections at home.
Race 4: WHITEHAVEN
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni
WHITEHAVEN ran his best race of the season to chase home Goldie Hawk at Haydock, and appeals as a horse to follow through the late summer and autumn. During the same period he rattled-off a fine hat-trick last year, and his patient trainer has given him all the time needed to further develop as a four-year-old.

Race 4: STORM CHASER (Each Way)

The giant STORM CHASER has shown promise in two of her three starts since joining her trainer from France. The Hurricane Run filly needs a galloping track to show her best, and should be right at home up the final climb to the post here. She’s been lightly campaigned and should have more to offer.
Race 5: ZOOM TIGER (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Ron Hornby
As the most experienced contender for this maiden ZOOM TIGER has plenty going for him. The Zoffany colt troubled the judge on each of his three outings in the spring, only to have developed a breathing issue. That’s been corrected by surgery, and though disappointing at Newcastle earlier this month he is capable of bouncing back.

Race 7: PUFFIN ISLAND (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Spiller – Jockey: Liam Jones
PUFFIN ISLAND has been a regular earner this summer, winning over course and distance last month and going down by a hard on her latest outing at Lingfield. The Awtaad filly needs to be taken seriously from a good draw in this race around a left-handed bend.
