SOUTHWELL

Race 2 No4 PRINCESS NIYLA (Nap)
Trainer: Hugo Palmer – Jockey: Pierre- Louis Jamin

PRINCESS NIYLA went down in a blanket finish when unconsidered in the market on her debut at Lingfield. The Night Of Thunder filly has the same apprentice that rode her back on board and taking 3lb off. The combination appeal as good value to topple paper favourite Brightly.

Race 4 No1 HIYA MAITE
Trainer: Roy Bowring – Jockey: Lewis Edmunds

HIYA MAITE was a beaten favourite when third to Jeans Maite here earlier in the month, having delivered on his previous outing at Newcastle. He’s one of the few horses in the field with recent earning form to his name and has a good draw from which to attack.

Race 6 No3 BE FAIR (Each Way)
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Luke Morris

BE FAIR had earned on five of his last six starts before being well beaten in a novice hurdle at Hereford. The experiment sees him quickly returned to sand, on which he was successful at Wolverhampton in May. He also ran well in a competitive race at this track in late October and can bounce back.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No6 VOLTAIC (Each Way)
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Miss S Bowen

VOLTAIC is proving a fine servant to his connections and has been only narrowly beaten on his latest runs at Southwell, Brighton and this course. He’s back off a short break and fancied to break the annoying sequence of near-misses.

Race 2 No6 INTRICACY (Nap)
Trainer: Simon Crisford – Jockey: Ross Coakley

INTRICACY made Come Together fight for the spoils on debut here last month and will now strip a lot more streetwise. The Dubawi colt is bred to enjoy going further than this extended mile but is pacey enough to repel newcomer First Sight.

Race 5 No4 AUSSIE BANKER
Trainer: Richard Hughes – Jockey: William Buick

AUSSIE BANKER wasn’t troubled to notch a first all-weather success at Kempton at the end of last month. He has an awkward draw to overcome, but if enjoying a decent break from the stalls can make life difficult for recent scorers Crownthorpe and George Morland.
