REDCAR – 13/09/2022

Race 2 No2 THANKUAPPRECIATE (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Tinkler – Jockey: Rowan Scott

As one of the most experienced runners in this novice, THANKUAPPRECIATE can prove a worthy favourite and add to the laurels of his wide margin Ripon success. His tail is up after that demolition job in which he landed some good bets, while he shouldn’t be inconvenienced by this return to the minimum trip.

Race 3 No4 INDIANA BE
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Danny Tudhope

The form of Prairie Falcon’s Goodwood race is working out, making him a leading player to take the spoils moved back up to seven furlongs, but INDIANA BE makes an equal amount of sense granted he’s earned in all three starts to obtain an opening mark, and looks the type that should do better in handicaps.

Race 5 No9 FOX HILL
Trainer: Eric Alston – Jockey: Jason Hart

FOX HILL was a winner the only time he visited this track well over a year ago. She’s subsequently made many visits to Haydock where she’s run well in back-to-back Class4 sprints recently. This is a wide open affair, but if again showing a likely for the terrain she can take home a cheque.

YARMOUTH – 13/09/2022

Race 2 No7 PROVERB
Trainer: George Boughey – Jockey: William Buick

Harry Angel colt PROVERB ran on in eye taking fashion when the penny dropped on his Windsor introduction behind Magical Merlin. Beaten just a length, that initial greenness probably cost him outright victory, but he will now be more streetwise and should make no mistake.

Race 4 No4 CHOURMO (Nap)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: David Egan

CHOURMO shows a good attitude in his races and has a great chance to open his account with man of the moment Egan in the irons. The son of Postponed was unlucky not to win at Chelmsford, and kept on gamely when headed to take home a minor cheque at Lingfield. It’s interesting that he’s shunned the opportunity to go for a nursery, and a big run is on the cards.

Race 5 No10 CUMULONIMBUS (Each Way)
Trainer: Charlie Fellowes – Jockey: Hollie Doyle

CUMULONIMBUS might not have endorsed the promise shown when third to Jimi Hendrix on his only juvenile start at Doncaster. However, he’s surely capable of better than we’ve seen from him in a couple of handicaps, and with Doyle on board for the first time is worth supporting at fancy prices.

UTTOXETER – 13/09/2022

Race 1 No6 FINE BY ME
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Finn Lambert

The lightly-raced FINE BY ME looked fully in charge at the end of his first run in handicap company at Bangor, and has the same capable conditional rider doing the steering. Plenty take him on, but he has room for sufficient progression to follow-up from this 5lb higher mark.

Race 2 No3 SIR TIVO
Trainer: Gary Hanmer – Jockey: Sean Bowen

Market support for Throne Hall could prove significant but of equal interest is the sight of multiple chase winner SIR TIVO trying to cash in on his status as a novice over hurdles. The keen front runner has posted seven successes over fences since his last outing over the smaller obstacles, and could easily get onto a handy lead and prove hard to peg back.

Race 4 No8 BELLE NE BANN (Nap)
Trainer: Neil Mulholland – Jockey: Tom Scudamore

BELLE NA BANN is enjoying the summer jumping to the extent that she laughed at her rivals when scoring at Newton Abbot last week. The Califet mare looked as if she could go round again, and is poised to complete a fine hat-trick.

WOLVERHAMPTON – 13/09/2022

Race 2 No3 BAND OF STEEL (Nap)
Trainer: Sean Woods – Jockey: Harry Davies

BAND OF STEEL paid the price for going off too hard at Goodwood and had nothing left at the business end. The run didn’t accurately mirror the promise of his first outing when second at Chelmsford. Now back on the all-weather he’s worth another chance.

Race 5 No10 DYNAMIC TALENT
Trainer: Darryll Holland – Jockey: David Probert

The addition of blinkers has seen DYNAMIC TALENT go down fighting in a photo at Kempton and then land some good bets at Lingfield. He should be on the case following a nice gap since that August triumph, and is well drawn to quickly assume at attacking position.
