HEREFORD

Race 1 No6 PARRAMOUNT
Trainer: Charlie Longsdon – Jockey: Aidan Coleman

PARRAMOUNT landed a bumper and was second in two others before going onto the sidelines, but following wind surgery came back to re-endorse himself with a third to MasterDancer at Stratford. The Mount Nelson gelding was racing for the first time in well over 500 days, and though attracting plenty of support had a good blow afterwards, suggesting it was needed. He will strip fitter for this.

Race 5 No4 SHELDON (Nap)
Trainer: Seamus Mullins – Jockey: Daniel Sansom

SHELDON landed some good bets when put straight into a handicap chase at Stratford by his shrewd handler. It resulted in a fine jumping performance to score unchallenged and marks him down as a horse to follow in the run-up to Christmas.

Race 7 No3 CORNICELLO
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

CORNICELLO came from an unpromising position turning in to get up on the run-in at Plumpton and land some good bets in the process. Bought out of the French provinces, he looks poised for another big earning run for his in-form stable.

HUNTINGDON

Race 1 No6 MINNIEMUM (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Daly – Jockey: Mickael Nolan

A close relative of the top-class Mighty Man, MINNIEMUM has plenty going for her this first outing over jumps. Her best effort happened when she finished second here at the end of January, while she was a little out of her depth in a Cheltenham bumper at its Spring meeting. She has schooled well over hurdles at home.

Race 3 No1 ROUGE VIF
Trainer: Harry Whittington – Jockey: Kielan Woods

Boombawn represents a Kempton race that is working out, and deserves respect, but if on his A-game ROUGE VIF will be hard to beat in this two-mile handicap chase. Back with his original trainer, for whom he won at the Cheltenham Showcase meeting two years ago, he’s thrived since his last race at Newbury in May, and can record a poignant victory.

Race 5 No11 GALACTIC POWER (Each Way)
Trainer: Harriet Dickin – Jockey: Ellis Collier

Although he’s in the veteran stage GALACTIC POWER can turn back the clock on his first outing for his trainer, the 12-year-old failed to complete on three of his four starts last season, but when doing so is a regular earner, and hard to keep out of the frame. The same could apply here.

LINGFIELD PARK

Race 4 No1 JUBILEE EXPRESS (Nap)
Trainer: Sam Thomas – Jockey: Sam Twiston- Davies

JUBILEE EXPRESS can prove by taking this another feather in the cap of trainer Sam Thomas, whose horses are popping their corks and in very good order. The Nap opened his account at Hereford in March and under a penalty should put in another bold run, with Twin Power and Master Who both respected up against him.

Race 7 No1 BADDESLEY
Trainer: Chris Gordon – Jockey: Mr Fred Gordon

Although burdened with to weight, BADDESLEY should give us a good run for our money as he just needed his first run back at Fontwell and will strip fitter. This is his first outing at Lingfield, but the track should suit him, as well as the testing going.

CHELMSFORD CITY

Race 3 No9 SERA DAWN ( Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Franny Norton

SERA DAWN troubled the judge at Yarmouth and again when pulled back to five furlongs at Catterick, where she was tapped for toe. Her trainer returns her to six for this first run on sand, and having worked well on it at home she can again take away a cheque. Adding to her claims is her good draw close to the fence.

Race 7 No7 CHICHESTER (Nap)
Trainer: Keith Dalgleish – Jockey: Kevin Stott

CHICHESTER has a habit of leaving with a cheque on his occasional forays onto the all-weather. The gelding narrowly failed to land the spoils on his latest start at Southwell, and granted a similar performance should go one better.
