Friday 27 October

7/2 Crystal Palace | Draw 11/4 | Tottenham 77/100

Palace will be weary of Spurs, and Roy Hodgson might once again opt for his team to sit really deep and close space…but Spurs have been brilliant to watch. They get forward so easily and given the quality they have in front of goal; I think they win this.

At the time of writing Spurs is at even money – get on early!

Saturday 28 October

13/20 Chelsea | Draw 3/1 | Brentford 21/5

The Bees got their first win last time out, but that doesn’t really paint the picture for their performances. They carry a really potent attacking threat (even without Ivan Toney) and don’t seem phased when playing the ‘big boys.’

Chelsea looks really difficult to beat at home, they are putting together really impressive passages of play and should win here.

2/17 Arsenal | Draw 17/2 | Sheffield 20/1

Arsenal showed great heart against both City and Chelsea, but I think this is a game for a rather shrewd bet. The Gunners aren’t playing with a tremendous amount of ease in the final third and at times look really susceptible to conceding.

Sheffield will come into this game knowing they need to close down space in their defensive areas well if they want to give themselves a chance…I think Sheffield with the positive handicap of +2 at 33/20 lands here!

21/20 Bournemouth | Draw 13/5 | Burnley 12/5

The Cherries are desperate to get their first win of the season under the leadership of Andoni Iraola, and I think this could be the one. Burnley always seems to look dangerous with the ball – especially as they progress up the field – but it is without the ball that they lack any sort of solid defensive approach. I’m not terribly confident in the hosts, but this is as good as its going to get for a while!

3/0 Wolves | Draw 29/10 | Newcastle 5/6

This is another gem of a betting option – Newcastle at 8/10 is a gift. The Magpies have been playing some really impressive football, granted it’s not been as impressive on the road, but they should rip through a Wolves side with a somewhat fragile defensive ability. Back the visitors here.

Sunday 29 October

23/30 West Ham | Draw 5/2 | Everton 23/10

West Ham will surely want to right the wrongs of last week Sunday. They were absolutely rinsed by an Aston Villa side out for blood. Everton were rather impressive in the Merseyside Derby; I thought the approach employed by Sean Dyche was spot on and gave his side the best chance at success. This ends in a draw for me.

4/7 Brighton | Draw 7/2 | Fulham 21/5

We all know the story for Brighton here is simple – what you see is what you get. They will be expansive for 90 minutes and try and suffocate Fulham into surrender. I can’t see where on the pitch Fulham could hurt Brighton and so I’m going to back the hosts with a touch of confidence.

2/7 Aston Villa | Draw 24/5 | Luton 9/1

Aston Villa continues to enjoy a really positive start to the season; they have scored a bucket-load of goals and just seemingly grow from strength to strength. They have been fantastic at home (where they have scored 17 goals in just four League games) Ollie Watkins has been immense and Villa Park is back to its bouncing best. This might be too much for Luton, I’m with the hosts.

27/100 Liverpool | Draw 5/1 | Nott’m Forest 9/1

Forest will probably feel they deserved something more out of their game with Luton last week, they have some really exciting players (Forest) and I just feel they can be better at killing games off.

Liverpool, however, won’t likely be the opposition that starts with. The Reds have an exciting midfield, I’ve enjoyed watching Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister play in the middle of the park and I think they’ve made a fair number of people eat humble pie. The hosts will be too strong, but for some extra value you might consider throwing in both teams to score.

4/1 Manchester United | Draw 29/10 | Manchester City 4/6
