Tour de France Stage 10

Tour de France  Stage 10
Tuesday 12th July

One of the shorter stages but don’t be fooled as it’s still quite tough. Starting off quite hilly over the first 90km it changes to several climbs ranging from 2.9% ( Cote de Chevenez ) to 3.9% ( Cote de Chatillon sur Cluses ) before flattening out for some 24 km, a gruelling 21 km follows with an average gradient of 4% and a finale sprint ( if possible ) of just 200m but at 7.1%.

Route: Tour de France  Stage 10

Morzine – Megeve

Distance: Tour de France  Stage 10

Total distance of 148.1km.

Type: Tour de France  Stage 10

As described earlier, several intermediate climbs and then a long section at 4.0%. The stage is unlikely to be tackled by any of the main contenders and the race is open.

The first 3 riders gain time bonuses of 10, 6 and 4 seconds.
