RCB still depend heavily on the influence and contribution of Virat Kohli for better or for worse

Verdict: Royal Challengers 4/5

Delhi Capitals 21/20 | Mumbai Indians 3/4

The Delhi Capitals are still looking for their first win in 2023 casting doubt on the leadership of Ricky Ponting and David Warner.

Mumbai Indians should be thrilled with the emergence of Tilak Varma but they need more from their established batters.

The Capitals now welcome their Proteas pace weapons, but it is their batting that creates the gravest concern.

Mumbai have more pressing concerns about their bowling thanks to the loss of Jasprit Bumrah.

Verdict: Mumbai Indians 3/4

Wednesday 12 April

Chennai Super Kings  5/6 | Rajasthan Royals  20/21

CSK and the Royals meet as the two teams threatening to build some momentum and move ahead of the pack.

Yuzvendra Chahal is in very good touch right now and could be one of the most influential wrist spinners in the tournament.

Ruturaj Gakwad is the India star who has stepped up to be the new CSK hero but MS Dhoni is still around leading this unit.

With Jos Buttler threatening to get going, getting rid of the English skipper is the prized wicket amongst the Royals.

Verdict: Chennai Super Kings 5/6

Thursday 12 April

Punjab Kings 1/1 | Gujurat Titans 4/5

Shikhar Dhawan has almost single-handedly uplifted the Punjab Kings so far this campaign.

The Gujarat Titans have seen the value of the immense experience and skill of spinner Rashid Khan.

The Titans have young but talented Indian batters ready to lift this team to victory.

Arshdeep Singh and Nathan Ellis have bowled well and formed a lethal new partnership.

Verdict: Gujurat Titans 4/5
