Max Verstappen has a comfortable lead at the top of the drivers standings as the teams make the trip across the Atlantic. It seems as though no one can stop the Dutch ace and his Red Bull team from another march towards Drivers' and Constructors' championships.

It was another fantastic weekend for Red Bull with Max Verstappen claiming his fifth win of the year, while Sergio Perez produced a fantastic drive to go from 11th on the grid to take fourth spot.
Verstappen was joined on the podium by the twin Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton (second) and George Russel (third). The latter produced an even better drive than Sergio Perez having taken his car from 12th on the grid to a podium finish.
Carlos Sainz ensured Ferrari would claim some vital points as he brought his car home in fifth place ahead of the twin Aston Martin’s of Lance Stroll (sixth) and Fernando Alonso (seventh).
The rest of the top ten was made up of the Alpines of Esteban Ocon (eighth) and Pierre Gasley (tenth) who were ahead and behind the Alfa Romeo of Zhou Guanya.

A firm favourite amongst F1 Fans, the Canadian Grand Prix offers excitement at every turn with high-speed cornering and a kilometer straight that runs onto the aptly named ‘Wall of Champions’.
The Drivers will face thirteen turns, during each of their 70 laps, which include some of the trickiest hairpins on the F1 calendar. As such, braking systems will be heavily tested throughout the race weekend.
Last year’s race was won by Max Verstappen with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz claiming second and Lewis Hamilton taking third.
As has been custom over the last few race weekend’s, we’re in for inclement weather with showers being forecast throughout the weekend.
To Win Race Outright – Max Verstappen
One simply cannot look past the Red Bull man here. He has won the majority of races this term and while his record in Canada is not great, he did manage a win at the race last term.

Podium Finish – Lewis Hamilton – Yes
I’ve stopped flogging what seems to be a dead horse and moving on from Fernando Alonso to claim the last podium spot on offer and moving over to Hamitlon to do so.
The Brit is the joint most successful driver at the venue winning seven races here. He managed his second podium finish of the season out in Spain and I’m backing him to make it three ‘Top 3; finishes this weekend.
