Batting deficiencies have plagued the Tigers of late and might even account for the bowler-friendly conditions often rolled out for white-ball matches in Bangladesh.

Tamim Iqbal needed support long before Shakib al Hasan arrived to render aid to the skipper.

While Mehidy Hasan has been dangerous, he could not deliver wickets in the second ODI.

The all-rounders have done well, but if the wins aren’t forthcoming, we can expect even more changes to the XI and balance of the side.

Jason Roy again demonstrated his value to the white-ball teams with a knock that put the hosts on the back foot.

Roy is the second Englishman to ton up in the series after a brilliant hundred in the series opener by Dawid Malan.

Sam Curran produced another clutch display, this time with the ball as he took out the Bangladesh top order.

Curran took four and Adil Rashid four as Bangladesh failed in their quest to keep the series alive.

Verdict: England

It could be tight, but England should triumph here comfortably enough.
