Friday 24 February

Fulham 13/10 | Draw 24/10 | Wolves 43/20 (22:00)

I keep lamenting over the improvement Julen Lopetegui has brought to Wolves, but their inability to consolidate this with real points just relegates their performances to just that…a performance! Fulham haven’t stopped creating chances this year and with it, they haven’t stopped competing for vital league points. Are they competing for a European spot? Nevertheless, I think they win this.

Saturday 25 February

Everton 33/20 | Draw 22/10 | Aston Villa 18/10 (17:00)

I’ve been impressed with Everton so far under Sean Dyche, they were unlucky in the derby but showed their defensive prowess again against a talented Leeds attack. Villa, much like their hosts are awkward to play and breakdown. They more than have a threat in front of goal – but against Everton I suspect they might have the gall to go for it. That will be their downfall though and I see the home side coming away with something. Back the Toffees on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 4/10.

Leicester 38/10 | Draw 29/10 | Arsenal 7/10 (17:00)

Leicester was comprehensively beaten at Old Trafford, but I wouldn’t put that down to a complete inability on the side of the Foxes. Brendan Rodgers’ men have shown that with a firing James Maddison they can be dangerous going forward. Arsenal seems to be perpetually under pressure this season, every game is a must-win for them, and this will be no different. They have been brilliant but also shown lapses in their performances. I think they win this, but should the game become open (what I expect) I wouldn’t be surprised to see Leicester make it difficult. Back both teams scoring at 15/20.

West Ham 7/10 | Draw 11/4 | Nottingham Forest 4/1 (17:00)

West Ham have been poor for too long and managed to get away with it. Against Chelsea, they were miles behind and managed to sneak a point. Against Spurs they struggled to keep up with the game and were duly dispatched. Forest has such a good record at the City ground but lack the same impotence on the road. I would be far more bullish had Forest been playing at home, but I think the away win/draw Double Chance at 7/2.

Leeds United 1/1 | Draw 5/2 | Southampton 28/10 (17:00)

Tough game to call, at the time of writing Leeds still don’t have a manager but have an array of attacking talent and are continuously presented with a seemingly unlimited number of opportunities. Southampton are lingering at the bottom of the table and seem to be scrambling…until they beat Chelsea and come into this game brimming with confidence. I like the look of the Saints at 28/10 – they are more put together and should claim all three.

Bournemouth 17/2 | Draw 5/1 | Manchester City 2/7 (19:30)

Bournemouth have been brilliant and just haven’t got the rub of the green in terms of results. Gary O’Neil seemingly has the Cherries playing at a solid tempo but just hasn’t seen his side get over the line. City are obviously the favourites here, but I don’t think they are impenetrable. At left-back they seem vulnerable but everywhere else they have the sort of players who can flex their worth and see their side earn a good win. City winning and over 2.5 is at honourable odds of 7/10.

Crystal Palace 38/10 | Draw 28/10 | Liverpool 7/10 (21:45)

Palace have been incredibly lucky recently. They earned a point at Brighton on the back of a tough performance, before beating Brentford but again not exactly shooting the lights out. Liverpool have been laundered over after their win in the derby and the Newcastle win. However, look at their performance in the Champions League as reference…they are not the most fluid. Nevertheless, they are a threat, and a placid Palace might struggle. Back the Reds at 7/10.
