Race 2 No4 SEAGRAVE FOX

SEAGRAVE FOX upped his game to claim a cheque on handicap debut and on his first all-weather outing at Wolverhampton where he was doing his best work at the finish. With the advantage of the rail the colt should soon be in a good stalking position and doesn’t have to show too much further improvement to win this.
Race 3 No3 COPY ARTIST (Nap)
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: David Probert
This team are absolutely flying and in COPY ARTIST, have a winner waiting to happen. The daughter of No Nay Never attracted late support on her latest start at Chelmsford, and after finishing off her race strongly looks in a good spot to open her account, although she needs to break smartly from gate 12.
Race 5 No2 WIN WIN POWER
Trainer: Mike Appleby – Jockey: Theodore Ladd
WIN WIN POWER skipped an opportunity earlier in the week and has benefitted as he’s drawn perfectly for his style of running and has had longer to get over his debut success for his handler gained two weeks ago. That New Year’s Day triumph is there to be built on, and the gelding obviously enjoys this surface and track.
Race 7 No9 THIS ONES FOR FRED
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: David Probert
Lightly-raced Wrens Rose is respected to get into the money but may have to play second fiddle to THIS ONES FOR FRED who is consistent, and represents a trainer who does well with his runners at this track.

Race 4 No8 GALUNGGUNG (Nap)
Trainer: Donald McCain Jnr – Jockey: Brian Hughes
Traprain Law needs putting into the exotics for this novices’ hurdle and can play the experience card to hoof effect, but GALUNGGUNG was a cosy winner of his only point outing in Ireland, and having joined top connections needs a serious market check. Providing he’s strong in the betting the grey can make it a winning debut under Rules.
Race 6 No1 ELVIS MAIL
Trainer: Nick Alexander – Jockey: Bruce Lynn
There’s a touch of class about top-weight ELVIS MAIL, who looks the one to be on if you ignore his underwhelming run at Aintree last time. His trainer has given the grey plenty of time to get over that reverse, and he could easily bounce back
