PREVIEW: Aussies aim to bounce back as T20 series heads to Canberra

England hold a 1-0 lead in what already promises to be a spicy series between cricket’s oldest rivals. Australia might feel a little aggrieved at coming up just short in a run-fest with a few hotly debated moments going down.

To Win Match
Australia 9/10 | England 9/10

Australia have rested their top bowlers but wouldn’t have been happy at the buffet put on for the tourists last time out.

Nathan Ellis stood out as the best of the bunch in a faltering attack with his performance showing why he has been earmarked for more T20I cricket.

David Warner returned to form at the best possible moment for Australia in what could be an ominous sign for bowlers.

Even struggling for fitness Marcus Stoinis is always a heck of a competitor and epitomises the fighting spirit of this team with his never say die attitude.

England welcomed skipper and star batter Jos Buttler back into their lineup in the series opener in Perth and they needed him at his best.

Alex Hales also furthered his case to be in the best XI at the T20 World Cup with another good knock.

Mark Wood got into it with Matthew Wade but appears to understand what is on the line when England face Australia and will be striving for top pace.

England’s left-arm quicks didn’t trouble the Australians that much but they still got among the wickets, and it appears they will be backed so long as their performances demand.

Australia look fired up and ready to hit back. Good value here at even money. For a bit more value, get on David Warner as Australia’s top batter at 5/2.
