WARWICK

Race 1 – POLITACUS 9/4

POLITACUS (6) brings proven Group form. Last seen finishing fourth attempting the twenty runner G2 Aintree jumpers flat in April. Leading chance switching to hurdles.

IT’S MAISY (1) already holds valuable hurdling experience. Resumes following a six month absence and caught the eye with a 34L success in a novice hurdle at Sedgefield. Interesting.

LITTLE MISS DANTE (5) won by 8L a Southwell apprentice flat race during April. Holds each way claims. FORTUNE FOREVER (4) is a place contender having previously run well in jumpers flat contests.

Race – MOKA DE VASSY 13/10

MOKA DE VASSY (4) placed at Grade 2 level. Fell and pulled up on final two starts of previous campaign among G1 company however returns against considerably easier rivals.

ROCKSTOWN NATIVE (6) resumes after a six month break. Last seen finishing a close second in a Market Rasen jumpers flat and could be interesting switching to hurdles with previous point-to-point form.

JOSH THE BOSS (7) was a winner two starts back. Holds each way claims following a six month spell. MINELLA DOUBLE (3) rates each way based on winning efforts in previous campaigns.

Race 3 – VALENTINO DANCER 6/1

VALENTINO DANCER (8) maintains proven novice handicap chase form and pursues a double following a 1.75L success at Newton Abbot. Leading chance based on summer jumping form.

HOMETOWN BOY (1) returns after a three year absence. Competing in top level handicap hurdles when last campaigned and looks interesting.

QUID PRO QUO (7) races third-up. Brings chasing experience and finished 2.25L third at Uttoxeter in latest. PASSING WELL (6) holds each way claims on seasonal reappearance.

Race 4 – ALEXANDRA ROMANOV 9/2

ALEXANDRA ROMANOV (9) returned from eight month absence with a course and distance success in a lower grade handicap hurdle. Entitled to improve for race fitness and could be competitive off a fair mark.

WATERGRANGE JACK (2) aims for a fourth straight success. Justified favouritism scoring by 1.5L at Fontwell Park in latest. Thereabouts.

GENTLEMAN VALLEY (5) recorded multiple victories previous campaign. Fourth when last seen the start of August tackling a longer trip Stratford handicap hurdle. HYLAND (3) holds each way claims resuming after a six month break.

Race 5 – OPENING BID 28/10

OPENING BID (2) recorded four wins from the past five outings. Broke through for a 4L success at Newton Abbot against similar opposition in latest. Leading chance.

INCH HOUSE (1) lacks experience. Sits at the top of handicap after an eight month absence. Last seen comfortably winning a Chepstow novice hurdle and could be in the mix transitioning to fences.

RISKINTHEGROUND (4) returns following a spell since April. Produced some solid novice hurdle form last season and holds each way claims with fences. BAGHEERA GINGE (3) placed three times from the past four outings including a second at Newton Abbot. Each way chance.

Race 6 – MINELLA RESCUE 1/1

MINELLA RESCUE (1) aims for a double after recording an easy 10L success at Stratford-On-Avon in late July. Experience may prove a big advantage.

OUT OUT (9) is a first race starter by Getaway. Represents a leading yard and could be firmly in the mix. MARESKA (10) looks interesting as by sprinting sire Caravaggio. Watch the market for guidance.
